Unfortunately I hate the smell of bonfires. I don’t get the appeal of fire pits etc. But sometimes needs must when you have to get rid of stuff. It’s a relief when it’s done and you can wash
your clothes and hair!Good that you rested afterwards. It’s easy to get carried away. Well done on the weight loss 🤗0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks SH and Skinty
I can't stand the smell of them either, I've had the equivalent of 3 showers this evening to get rid of today's eau-de-bonfire!
All the brambles have been cut down and burned, I've had another tidy up and TomBo came down after he'd finished in the garden. We've laid some tarps to bump weeds and couch grass off, still got another 4 to put down, but I need to allocate more rocks and stones to hold them down.
I was given some fruit by one plot holder. Another is going to see if he has spare glass for my greenhouse and TomBo is going to sort additional shelving out, the leftovers from my old plastic greenhouse; which will give me quite a good amount for growing on.
Had 2 sessions on my plot today, only breaking away for the mid-day sun.
I'll be having a chill day tomorrow, some pottering around, food shopping, collecting my order for the allotment, but plan on sitting down more than I move about 🤫
We're having soup for tea and I'll be loading up on fruit for pudding as I may have burned more cals than I'll be eating today 😮Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
sounds like your well away soring out the allotment! We have an allotment area in our garden and that is lovely that its here and i can pop into the garden whenever. But i hear so many stories about lovely friendly people meeting up at allotments and sharing tips and produce. Sounds like you have already met a nice person!Flowers x♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Thanks FP
There's definitely a community and we all natter as if we've known each other for years!
Got another ground cover down today, only 3 more to do. I've got more standalone shelving units set up in the greenhouse and I started clearing the moss off it; got carried away chatting else that would have been finished 🤭 TomBo took the strimmer down and gave the weeds / grass a good hair cut.
I grabbed a propagator from the greenhouse, given it a good wash ready to sow three types of tom seeds.
- Plans for this week: finish getting rid of the moss, hopefully fit replacement glass, dig out weeds from a strip running part of my plot and sprinkle flower seeds.
- Potential plans for days off / weekend: put up fence, lay remaining ground cover, transplant strawberries to fruit section.
Had bacon with brown sauce rolls for tea, I'll have various fruits for pudding.

Weather has been changeable today, sun, rain, hail, sun, but it never stopped me going for my lunchtime allotment visit for a potter about.
I've sown tom seeds in a propagator, which is now heating up in the window. I'll be taking the lids off the corn soon the way they're going!
I also started my new qualification and that should be finished just after autumn begins. I'm hoping to slot it in to my normal daily routine, as I've got all my assessment dates, until approaching the end when I'll dedicate more time to it.
Get my annual spinal point rise this month, while the Un10ns thrash out the actual rise; no doubt that will be paid just before the seasonal holidays again 🤔
We're having turkey wraps for tea, I'm having fruit for pudding, and my feet are up.

We certainly has lots of weather here today too. Bright blue sky this morning and sunny, then by 11 grey and rainy then hail and started grey for the rest of the day!
You did well to go to the allotment!

Thank you FP, DIA and SH
I'm so much happier, everything has fallen into place and all my plans worked out 😃 I do feel the new meds have been life-changing, long may it continue.
Now I can continue what I have worked so hard to achieve, enjoying being outside and putting food on our plates, income to save and pay bills, trying new things and generally having a great time.
Ooooh, just thought of a little target for this year! Get my patio tidy and do the same with the allotment ('second home') patio, giving me space, fresh air and somewhere to enjoy it. I'll be buying a little patio set for my second home as I sit on a brick or slab when having breaks and a little area to eat / drink would be nice.
I've tracked everything this year in MFP as I'm now able to be more active. It's projected 1.5st loss over the next 5 weeks if I carry on the way I am. When gardening for hours I'm trying to eat a normal amount of cals, rather than 'diet' amount. I'll try my dress on this week so I know how much weight I can get away with losing over the next couple of months; I'd still like a flatish tummy ☺️
I have options of a couple of different dresses for A&U's event and will wear shoes and accessories from the first event.
I've a very long weekend involving taking TomBo to buy his new bike, gardening at home and the allotment, makeup applications, pampering, films and I'll do some more of my new course as I want the bulk of it out the way 🤭
We had a beef casserole type meal with gnocchi, I've had chocolate peanuts for pudding and I'll have fruit in a bit.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0
