Thanks SH and Skinty
Think of big chicken nuggets, but the Q brand therefore some form of mushroom, with a hint of heat.
Going to slip in a few hours of study while it's early and possibly have the rest of the day off. If TomBo goes for a bike ride I'll slip in a bit more. He'd probably be ok with me doing it all day as cake days are not a thing for him, but the weather doesn't look too bad so he may suggest we go out somewhere, but that's pure speculation on my behalf.

I've done some gardening, got some baking potatoes harvested and I'll be living on spud curry for a while!
TomBo has been gardening for most of the day.
I have also done about 7 hours of studying, got 9 pages left of this chapter and then I'll be on to the next.
I've 9 chapters left to read and condense, 4 chapters to tweak depending on what's changed in the new book and the equivalent of 15 days to get it done before I have to decide whether I'll be ready for the exam and pay for it. Please let me have several more easy chapters where I've the underlying knowledge!
We're having pizza for tea, I've got my feet up and we have Alc-traz themed films for tonight 🤗Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Love the movie theme... Sounds like you are making an escape plan with your studies.... One day this stage will be behind you and you will break freeAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Films were great, bit of Cl!nt and C0nnery make for a wonderful evening 😊
I saw a trailer for D-hmer on 'flix, watched the first 4 episodes of that and hopefully we'll finish that over the next few days.
I'll need to factor in a bit of rest and relaxation between modules for a recharge before diving in to the next one. It will probably be immediately after the exam where hindsight is a wonderful thing as I reflect on what I should have been included in my answers 🤣
Ooh my course manuals have arrived. I've the L3 version of what I'm currently doing, and the L6 version for another I plan to do. The L6 is huge 🤭- I can go through my L3 if I'm not up for a read and condense session.
I'm still keeping a daily watch in case other suitable manuals pop up at a price I'm willing to pay.
Better focus on my studies and stop writing this up as I read, condense and type my notes!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
TomBo went out with family, which meant a few hours uninterrupted. Couldn't have gone even if I wanted to as I overdid it in the garden yesterday and the meds don't touch this type of pain.
24 pages left of my new chapter, got stuck on some badly written EU stuff and needed a conclusion which I couldn't quite find with quick online searches so I'll have to find and read the whole thing. I'll do that as part of my final tidy up, along with a few others as it slows me right down and at this stage I can't risk falling behind. My brain couldn't do anymore and I finished at 5pm.
I should be ok with the remainder of this chapter as I've a good understanding of what it's going to cover.
Hopefully I'll be able to make a start chapter 8 afterwards and get that finished before my next day off.
I've one office day this week and sneaky B1 volunteered me to help someone in the team with their work, promising them I can get through double the amount of work I can actually do in a day; I'm keeping an eye on things on my day off so I've time to calm down rather than 'walk' into things blindly when I'm back in (virtually speaking).
We're having homemade tomato sauce with pasta for tea, I've gone really hungry as I've barely eaten today, and I've my feet up patiently waiting to eat and watch more of D-hmer!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

The only positive I can take from B1's actions are them showing what they're really like.
I'll rest in the evenings, unfortunately at the moment I just don't have 'time' to miss a study day. I'm counting down my chapter pages and study days / dates to ensure I'm staying on track.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
I printed suggested answers for half the previous papers but ran out of ink. Definitely need access to an industrial printer for the amount I need to run off just for the exam papers, suggested answers and examiner reports, although I might not bother for my remaining modules and only print my revision notes when they're done.
Finished the chapter, there's 32 pages to read and condense over the next few days for my new one.
Moved a little bit to one savings account, paid a bit more off my CC and I've got my feet up.
It's starting to get quite windy and felt like it's been about to rain all day.
