Thanks SH
It was better because I wasn't the one getting the brunt of B1 and partly the reason I'm joining up with the other person. I'm a step closer to being fobbed off on to other people for proper training.
Also, I'm edging closer to getting stuck into my coursework, which is stressful but at the same time is working towards a positive. Unfortunately, I just do not have the energy / ability to sit at my desk to do any after work.
With my next module I can print and read the material while sitting on my recliner, highlight things and type revision notes on the weekends, until my health settles. Must check when I need to enroll on it!

Good luck, B1 has no friends what a total rotter. I hope the trainee is able to help you to cope with B1. Im going till 12th hope you stay strong. Think of your lovely home, garden, OH and your long term plans. Thinking of you, swxxxAiming for a minimal spend 20222

Thanks SW, have a great time with family!
The trainee has been in post for 3 years, to me it looks like a confidence thing, not helped by B1.
I've been working my way through one task and asked for more work relating to another two tasks to ensure I've got enough work for the next few working days as I'm now at the buddy stage. B2 asked me how I've found things so far and I provided a good overview of my experience and made suggestions about how it should have been done, but omitted to say my thoughts on how B1 comes across.
They've not decided what work I'll be doing and I offered a couple of ideas as there's no guarantee of my contact being extended, it's a bit daft trying to get me doing everything when I work best 'sweeping up' the the backlog of work to get it cleared; I gave a really good example from my previous career so B2 now knows my background.
I'll be starting 2 hours early from now on, doing normal hours or 'banking' hours and doing longer days when we're short of staff due to holidays or illness. There's no reason for me to say I'm studying 😉
I am happier working with B2 as they have a sense of humour, explain things without being patronising, are approachable and listen.
After work I went to my local shop and picked up fruit, spinach, 'milkshake', 'sausages', gf bread, gf crackers, crisps for TomBo and other bits. Spent £17. Had a quick catch up with my butcher on the way home, which was nice.
I did rest when I got in, rather than push myself to do my course. I'm hoping to have conserved some energy for doing 2 - 3 hours tomorrow and go flat out the weekend.
Tea was leftover chickpea curry, I added some spinach to it and fried some of the leftover rice.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

Thanks SH, B2 is the reason I've not walked out.
Had a better day today as the training was a vast improvement, did more mandatory training and I intermingled it with real work; I may not have enough left for Monday!
- I did long hours today and a couple of little potters round the flat for a stretch. I've some energy left and don't feel as drained, which will be due to WaH and having the right set up.
There's a fun fair, bagpipes, market stalls and all sorts in the village this weekend, it was supposed to be the other end but has spilled down to us too.
I've not done any coursework, but have thought a lot about both tasks. I'm confident this weekend will be a productive one, with a few swear words for good measure 😊
Exam registration has opened up, it's about 2 months before closing date, which should give me plenty of time to have this module signed off for submission and be partway through my next module. Over the next month I'll be paying out £687.50; course fee, exam entry and coursework entry.
I've lost another 1lb, down to 12st 5lb. It's slow, but consistent based on diet alone. I'm tracking my food and 'exercise' (pottering around) in the MFP app to keep me on track.
On that note, I had chips and salad for tea 🤭Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Hi MF,
Seems like lots has changed since I last read.
The fun fair sounds like a nice treat, to give you a break between coursework.

Huge changes have been going on lately and I've a few years of studying ahead of me, potentially with another twist at the end of it, but I'll think more about that near the end of module five.I'm not going to the fair, too much coursework to do and the noise is interfering me watching TV 🤭 it's night two of it and stopped late yesterday.
Chips are a regular Friday treat.

It was a better day as B1 wasn't in constantly looking over my shoulder. They told me how to have my home screen set up when I'd already set it up to how it made sense to me, what systems to have open the moment I log in which would result in unnecessary applications running, what I should be doing to structure my day, even down to how much time to spend doing things during these periods, just talks at me and I find myself asking the same question three different ways as I get an answer for something totally different, all because that's how they work.
Contrast that with B2 who said these are the systems and I see you're moving them to make it easier for you, this is how you do this or that work, lets me get on with things and knows I ask questions if I'm stuck and I only have to ask it one way; I've ruled out error on my part by asking B2 the same first version of a question I've asked B1.
B1 doesn't have management potential, B2 is a natural and both have been doing it about the same amount of time.
Time to clear my head of this brain dump and get on with my coursework!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Sadly, I can identify with B1, some of those traits belong to current manager...
You seem to be powering ahead with your coursework
