Im in the public sector and barely had any training in my new job. lol I had to laugh at the end of day two they asked if i knew where the loos where!Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

SW, It's a tick box thing with companies, but unfortunately they rarely follow up if people haven't done the training. I've not been given a building orientation, had to find the toilet and staff canteen, don't know the fire points, haven't had an evacuation plan drafted etc. It's not a small building I work in.
I've got off to a slow start today and went back to bed instead of doing my course, starting it when I got up.
I didn't gather up one lot of information and am in the process of doing that, felt my brain slip out my ear again. I've had a quick break and some biscuits to allow my brain to slide back into place.
I'm going to focus on the three sections and make a start moving the other two over, just means I will somehow have to do my studies after work this week to get this task finished.
TomBo has done the shopping and is now doing whatever in the garden.
Better get back to it!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

You must have needed more rest if you went back to bed. Hope you have managed to get more done this afternoon & hope you are eating more than just a couple of biscuits 😬

Thanks SH and Skinty
I couldn't cope sitting up so took meds and went for a lie down while they kicked in, had about 5 minutes sleep. It was enough to free my mind of pain and give me strength to deal with the physical pain.
The battery has already died on my new t3ns machine 😲 TomBo went out and got me a new one; I thought he'd gone to the garden again. He has watered the garden for me.
Inside the toms are turning red and the chillies are growing bigger 😊
Studies were slow, but progress has been made.
S1 needs a final check.
S2 needs a lot more work before it moves over.
S3 is in the silly paper and needs a final check.
S4 needs a final check.
S5 needs a little more info before that's ready to get moved.
I did want to carry on, but I was mindful I needed to eat and get a bit of rest. I've told TomBo there's another couple of weeks of intense coursework and confirmed it was daft trying to do a 6m course in about 6 weeks 🤭
I'm going to do a quick sweep of S1, S3 and S4 when I get in tomorrow, make sure spelling and format is ok. I'll move what I've got so far for S2 and S5 and submit the lot to my tutor before class starts.
I had a 'milkshake' for lunch, 'sausage', spuds and salad for tea, popcorn for first pudding, apple for second pudding.
I'll have a shower and wash my hair in a bit, that's the best I'll do as a pamper this weekend.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
I popped it L1dl on my way in, picked up a few things and had a look around. I'll probably be doing a shop after work tomorrow.
I'm getting told stuff too late eg team structure would have made sense on my first day, not a week later when I know it. I'm doing test work, giving the answers and then being given the training on how to do it, which is backwards as I should be trained on it first before tested. Oh and I'm still repeating all the previous training. Apparently I'll be working under supervision this week and running my own work next week; it's not exactly rocket science for someone with my background and if the training was structured properly I would have been up and running last week.
There's still a lack of comprehension about disabilities and the comments are getting my back up (no pun intended), it would be better if I was on B2's team as at least he understands a bit and is listening. It's got to the stage of not caring if I lose this job it's not my 'thing' and I contemplated resigning on my way in.
I grabbed chips after parking up as I needed to eat quicky, do some of my coursework and submit it before class started.
Class went well. My tutor is very pleased with what I've produced to date, needs a couple of tweaks and I'm definitely on the right track. I've explained about my health rapidly declining and how I'm struggling to do long sittings with my coursework. I can have an extension at the end of needed, which was nice to hear.
I'll do a financial update tomorrow, I've got zero energy.
