Sounds like you are doing great with study. Like me, you are hanging to do what needs to be done work wise. Being in control of your environment when you are being controlled in other aspects of work is so important. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Thank you DIA
I ended up breaking down as B1 couldn't get it into their head that I'm in constant pain and had no energy to work after a certain time so that's why I start early.
Needless to say I got my point across by saying I'm not in a bit of pain, I'm in f- agony on a daily basis, I can only learn new things in the morning, can't have all my meds in the afternoon due to driving and that's why I don't learn new things and do the work I've already learned and my set up at home is better than I'll ever have in the office. Upshot is I have to remind them each day that I'm disabled and in a lot of pain; which is something I've never had to do and won't help my MH as I live it, feel it, use work as an escape from it and it's obvious just looking at me!
I've one more thing to 'pass' at work and then I'll be let loose. They've never known anyone to pick the job up like I have, only need to be shown something once and I've got it, don't have to write things down to remind myself, I'm highly intelligent, fast at clearing the work, methodical and my determination shows. My reply "it's an easy job and I work how I do due to my background" 🤨
Got in at 6pm and haven't done my coursework, which annoyed me as it feels like I'm prioritising a job I don't want to be in over a career I want back ☹️
I'm WaH tomorrow and will finish early to get my coursework finished.
Had chips and salad for tea, got my feet up and watching TV, my body feels like it's in flames.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

It's a constant thing, which is why I can't get my head round having to say it each day. It's not a big team and from what I've worked out I'm the only disabled one. I had to move my equipment three times to different places, which isn't an easy task when you see what I have to take in.
I'm only saying it here to give context to what's going on and why my opinion of certain people is what it is; which I can't see changing.
As to be expected, I'm worse today, but at least I'm WaH and will switch to my coursework when I log off.
I've got to get T2 finished, start and finish T3 by the end of this week.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

Providing I don't move or breathe, everything is great!
I've been nattering to one of my new friends and they've offered me some alternative therapy; hands off so safe to try and I've booked it for the middle of next week so I can focus on my course.
I also had a look at the internal vacancies and one has caught my eye. It's a PT, FTC career role. I'd be living like a pauper throughout it, the salary would cover outgoings but not much else. It also means I'd have time to do another 2 modules and have to pay for them from savings.
There's a couple of weeks before the closing date, so if I can get this module finished this week, I'll have time to update my CV and apply; I'll be looking for a new job anyway when this module is done.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Sounds like it could be a good option for you. It does sound too full on trying to do your course and work full time.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I'm not sure working for less than £700pm is the smartest thing for me to do as there's no money to pay for my courses aside from using savings. If it was about £900pm that would be more than enough.- TomBo said should go for the PT one if I'm interested in it or resign; he gave me his approval for the latter in my first week as he saw me rapidly decline and doesn't like what I'm experiencing.
I'm used to doing intense work, long hours and studying, it's part and parcel of my career choice, but I'm usually in an interesting role and focusing on working upwards, while balancing my health.
I did 3 hours of my coursework, only about an hour more to do. After that I'll do task 3 and submit the lot to my tutor. I've booked tomorrow off to do it, update my CV and apply for a couple of roles.
The company who declined me for being too experienced have a higher level role and I'm tempted to put a cheeky application in, but would expect to get knocked back on qualifications.
I've burnt my hand on the oven and my baked spud tasted of nothing, thankfully I had salad with it and that had flavour.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Sorry you burned yourself. I hope you recover quickly.
I hear what you say on the job - but I'd still be tempted. Is there a job with a few more hours than that so that it's less of a pay gap?
I'd put the cheeky application in and see how far you get. It's apparently what blokes do and it seems to work for them.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

No, there's only this one career role with the LA and it's on a low banding compared to what I'm in now. Obviously I can work for that money and cover my outgoings, but it means annual bills, any repair bill and course fees all come from savings.
I will be putting the application in for the other company, if only to give the recruiting manager a giggle and prove she was right not to offer me the other role as I'm ambitious 🤭
- this is the company I really want to work for, so I have to tread carefully.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2
