    Thanks SH and DIA
It's putting me in a very awkward position.

Went to the local market, they finally listed the stalls a few hours before it was due to end. Hadn't moved so quickly in a while to get ready, find TomBo to tell him I was going and head off. Grabbed some vegan fudge and sweets (£15), also gave the Indian boxes (£13) a second chance, definitely won't be giving a third chance.

I've cooked a daal for my lunches, I'll have it with rice or gf pita bread and made enough for 3 - 5 meals.

TomBo is making chilli, with TVP, for tea.

I'll have a shower in a bit and rest for the remainder of the day; I was up all night.

Another warm / muggy night and I've got up. I'll grab a few hours sleep in bed when TomBo gets up.

I'm going to get a folding bed sorted out. I can tuck it away out of sight in the lounge and open it up as and when needed; which is 2+ nights a week lately.

I did have an enjoyable evening, had my feet up and we finished the first series of the w1r3; I know it's old, but there's so much stuff I never got to watch in my previous life.

Had a look at what cashback my bank is offering and it's 10% for WH$. Looks like I'll be pre-ordering my required reading books this week as they'll cover two modules I'm doing later this year / first half of next and I'll get about £6 back.
    - hopefully the offer will be on again for when I do my last lot and need more books 🤭

TomBo was up at 5.30, muttering something about cat wanting breakfast, I slipped away to get 3 hours of sleep, getting up as he started work.

My initial course modules landed in my inbox by the time I got up. I've printed it all and slowly making my way through everything, forming ideas as I go along. Printed a copy of the timetable off and pinned that up, line of sight on my desk.
    - TomBo has read it and will be going for walks when I have my weekly class.

As my laptop was on, I've set up the remaining folders needed for all modules. Realised I don't have a stapler but have found small bulldog clips and giant paper clips. I'll look later to see if I have a hole punch.

I'll be moving between sofa and desk for comfort levels.

It's the first happy Monday I've seen in a while 😊

Thank you Skinty, I could sing from the rooftops as it feels right; location, time, me, being settled etc. There's no way I was ready until a few months ago.

I've read the directions twice, the material once. Will repeat this again in a bit and once more tonight.

I have double checked the timetable, submission date and got my own study plan sorted out.

Tomorrow I'll be jotting down ideas and directions.  Wednesday I'll be making a start. Thursday I'll be expanding and be in full flow. Friday I'll get additional documentation from college and I'm aiming to have the first part done by lunch Monday, all while working on the second part to give me ahead on that too. Third part is just consolidating everything and while I'm rusty, I did it for years so should quickly shake that dust off and produce a work of art like I used to.

Knowing me and how I like to be organised, I've ordered stapler, staples and hole punch. I have a folder, when each module is done, I'll move the material out ready for my next lot to go in.

I have also ordered a couple of books, they're a year or two old, but will get me back in the flow ready for my September module. When I order the updated books, I'll get more printer ink too.

    Total spend today under £13.

I had daal and veg biryani for lunch. I'm currently cooking a tomato, mixed bean and veg bake for tea.

    Thank you SH

TomBo asked me about the module and I read out the questions for P1, then gave a synopsis of the material. I stood up, started pacing round the lounge explaining about part 2 and how I initially freaked but came at it from a different angle and how I'd tackle that, relaying it back to the underlying documents, and wrapped up with an outline for part 3.

Arms and hands are showing the passion in my voice as I speak.

Walked to my timetable, said my plan to get P1 done and handed in after 1st class to ensure there's no other surprises / info I need, or the following day if there is and I need to make tweaks.

Explained a few other things and how I'll have to find workarounds; if I was in my career job they have all the licences and I need to see what the college and my regulator provide access to.

Sat down and said, "so yeah, I've just answered all P1 questions, made a start on P2 and done the outline for P3, by explaining to you what I'll be doing" 🤭

I'm feeling a lot more confident, definitely on track and the new and improved me is here, raring to go.

Thanks SH and everyone who acknowledges my posts.

It's been a long two decades, with so many bumps in the road along the way including unsupportive family, constant belittling, the drama on run up to exams and being put down as rubbish at them if I failed, becoming jaded due to false promises, the debt side and everything else in-between.

I was good at what I did, best in my department and several others. Wiped the floor with people a lot higher up too and was told numerous times. It was hard to walk away, but I'd stayed too long and got held back because of it.

Moving and starting over was the right thing to do. I was away from everything that previously restricted me.  Obviously I've spoken about returning to my previous career probably for as long as I've been here, but it was always there tapping my shoulder saying do it.  Each step of the way I had to overcome a historic issue, which then allowed me to move up and tackle the next.

Being with TomBo made everything so much easier. He really is a breath of fresh air, supportive and encouraging, having faith and confidence, gently pushing me towards doing what makes me happy. The little things like asking answers to questions popping up on other sites, me replying without hesitation allowed me to see I'd not forgotten, just carefully tucked it away.

When I sat back on the sofa everything fell into place, the floodgates of information opened and I finally believed in myself.
