Thanks Skinty, I don't think the change in weather is helping either; warm but wet.
I need to try and get under my desk to reconnect all the cables, TomBo disconnected everything so I could charge my phone but I've been charging it elsewhere.
I must get one thing done for my CPD. They've changed part of it in that I have to 'plan' an aspect, say how it will be used and why it will improve my practice 🤨
I'm hoping to all the CPD off my laptop as then I can keep records straight after. If I do it on my phone I'll be writing bits down to transfer over, emailing links to pick up and include etc.
At the moment I feel a million miles away from where I want to be. Can't help thinking I've stopped and my body is going through a shutdown period, which is what I don't need right now as I've too much to do.
I'll make a large frappe in a bit 🤭Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
I bit the bullet after posting this morning and rigged everything up, can't get my monitor to work and TomBo will have a look at why. Thankfully the laptop screen is a decent size.
Made an oat milk frappé and filled my ice tray up ready for tomorrow's one.
Sat at my desk with my large frappé and set up folders for studying and my CPD, with sub-folders. Grabbed the templates from my regulator and put those in. Printed off a few guides.
Took a deep breath and partly filled in the 'planning' one, saved it to finish completing after I've done the module I start next month. Took an even bigger breath and cracked on with CPD, printing pages as I go (b&w printing is perfect).
Grabbed another template and filled that in, carrying on with CPD after that. All the time I'm logging it on a document as I've not got access to log it on my regulators site!
- sent an enquiry to ask they add the link to my access.
Set up some quick links related to all this, for ease of going straight to what I need to. Was going to watch some seminars and set up quick links, but I need to alter my set up as it's not comfortable and is rather painful.
I've done 3.5 hours of CPD and feel a step closer to getting back in the swing of it and returning to the work I enjoy.
Hobbled to bed and had a bit of a doze. TomBo types loudly and I thought he'd finished work when he came in to see me so I got up, but he was just on a break. The rest has hopefully set me up for the evening.
Regulator has replied saying no CPD required for this year. It doesn't run Jan to - Dec, but I thought it would still be apportioned for the time left.
- I'll still carry on doing it as it's good to factor in ready for later in the year when I have to log it.
I'm soaking dried mushrooms and TomBo is making a risotto with them.

Good progress with your CPD.
Mushroom risotto sounds yumIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thank you DIA and SH
Ref has gone in, so I should have a confirmed offer soon.
I need to call the garage as my 'pass' MOT isn't showing, only the fail.
Also need to call the college. I'm mindful the module starts in less than 2 weeks and I should have done a lot of prep by then; can't do the prep without the subject matter.
I'll continue doing CPD as it will help me move back into what I want to do and assist with my remaining modules.
Over the next few days I'll update my CV and start plotting how I'll update Lk-in, even if I do it in a document and copy the info over next week.

I was offered the 6m FT one.
- If I mentioned my health, I may have stood a better chance of having the one with slightly less hours.
Hopefully in 6 months I'll be halfway through my entire course and only have 3 modules left to do. More doors should be open to me at the start of next year as a result of the type of work I'll be doing and due to studying.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
I'm totally worn out just reading what you're doing/have to do! XXX
I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
