    Thanks Skinty and SH
It's odd being 'allowed' in the kitchen! Chilli is simmering away. I've ended up making a big pot, so not soaking chickpeas as I'll have leftovers for a few lunches.

We've been to see SIL and mini me. I've offered to drive us all to swimming, if she puts the kids seat in my car. I may buy one for mine, depending on my start date in relation to the summer holidays as they're a lot cheaper than I thought they were.

TomBo wanted to go to T as he forgot to add things to my shopping list the other day.  The reduced section had branded vegan hot choc and the coffee I need to make homemade frappe 😊

We put things into the food bank box. I'm adding a couple extra items in my shopping to drop on my way out.

Walking by the donated book section I spotted a cookbook (M-dhur J-ffrey) I've been thinking of buying, grabbed it and donated the change in my purse.

I've not been to the garden, but there's been enough rain for it.

I don't have the energy to finish the coffee table and desk, but can do it tomorrow. Instead I'm alternating between feet up, picking recipes out and stirring the chilli. Is this what Sunday's are supposed to feel like 😀

Thanks Skinty, I could get used to it 🤭

The book is fantastic as there's stories, history and information, with colour photos. I can almost smell the food when I look through it.

Told TomBo I'll be cooking curry this week for lunch, he's said which frying pan I'm to use for the chapati and he seemed quite interested.

I've found my ink and priced up another set, may have to be selective about what I do print off.

Feet are up again and more old sci fi.

Thank you SH, it definitely will. I'm already working out lunches for my new role, when I'm in and WAH. I'll perfect them over the next few weeks and may even make samosa, bhaji and other snacks.

Tomorrow I'm planning a large frappe for breakfast and daal, chapati and light salad for lunch; the leftover chilli I'll have for tea 😀

Got up at 8.30 as I couldn't stand lying down any more and made it through to the lounge; it's a sciatica flare I'm struggling with, on top of everything else.

Council have chased me again about my second reference, I've nudged the person and that will go in tomorrow.

I've been in and out the kitchen. Originally I was going to make a daal, but that went wrong so I turned it into a nice channa masala instead. I roasted aubergine and courgette with garlic and herbs, TomBo will do the rest of it later and serve with pasta. We had the leftover chilli for lunch.

I transplanted my little bush tomato and moved him to the lounge. I'll not make it outside, but it's rained heavily today.

Aside from that I've been on the sofa all day. I know I need rest, but at the same time have so much to do before I'm working again.

All the food sounds delicious. I was roasting veggies today too.
You've reminded me to chase up referees
Hope you are having a relaxing evening  :)

    Thanks DIA and SH

I've managed to have a shower and wash my hair.

TomBo played computer games for a bit. I've dug out the reading list for my modules and started pricing them up, that's another £200 I need to budget for.

Just watching a bit of old sci fi with my feet up.
