    Thanks Skinty and SW

TomBo has had a snoop at the size of the team and it may be possible to avoid the boss and latch on to better for my training. Still no news of a start date with them and no email from college.

I'm not sure I am eating enough since swapping food over. I'm not always having anything aside from a very small evening meal. I need to watch this as I've probably cut my cal intake by at least half by ditching meat and dairy, then I've ended up just not eating breakfast, rarely lunch, no snacks etc in a short space of time and that's probably contributed to lack of energy.
    - I'll get some fruit tomorrow and plan better for next week.

I've moved some money back to my normal account, ready for bills to come out in the morning. I haven't moved over food / petrol money as I have cash in my purse for fruit and veg and over half a tank of fuel.
    - I will have to move money in / out to meet funding requirements of the account.

Well, I've made it through my first week of being a lady of leisure and have learned a few things, mainly I must eat more as I'm feeling a bit better today after ramming a big meal down my neck last night.

I am going swimming in a bit. So far I've managed to get my hair 'swim ready' (plaited), put the brush back in the shower room and put my towel / toiletries in my bag.

Next is tackling shaving my legs, getting in to my swim wear, adding my clothes on top of that and then heading out.

    June financial roundup:

    Saved £227.54 into general savings.
    - I'm using the roundup feature on my normal current account to squirrel pennies away too.

I did put away £1370 into my study / holding account, bumping it up to £1580, but it now sits at £980 due to moving money out for bills.

    Outstanding mortgage is £59,028 ish.

My car everything pot has dropped to £433, but still enough to cover car insurance, aircon and oil change this month. I'll have to start adding to it again in August.

All the bills have come out, aside from nibble box and bank fee. I have £29.89 in my normal account and will pop money in and out over the next few days to meet funding requirements.

When I do food shopping I'll transfer some money in for it.

I'm doing a bit of a money shuffle with savings, transferring money from lower interest paying accounts into higher interest RS accounts. I'm not including that in my savings figures as it's money already saved, just means I earn better interest.

I only plan on saving about £20 this month, want to keep the momentum going ready for when I'm back in work.

I've cut spending right back to meet this unpaid period in my life and it's 20 days until I get money from TomBo.

You should definitely eat more. Not good to skip breakfast, lunch and snacks. Have a good swim. Hope it’s nice and relaxing once you get in the water despite the faff of getting ready!

    Thanks Skinty

I weighed myself before going out, 12st 7lbs now. That's 11lbs gone in nearly a month, but in reality it's 9 days as my weight was the same as before on my last day of work.

I managed 4 laps and 2 widths, all done as breaststroke, no flipping over to backstroke. Loads of bobbing, floating and chasing mini me around. Cost £10.20, kids go free.
    - arms are like lead now!

Popped to T on my way home, grabbed some fruit, salad, gf bread, oat milk and 'yoghurt'. Picked up tinned fruit, long life milk and squash for the food bank; I was given a list on the way in and have pinned it to my fridge for next time. Total spend was £12.11.

I've had a look round the garden. Peas need to fatten up, some spinach are still ok and I picked an alpine strawberry. The wind hasn't blown all my apples off. Don't have to water as it's just started raining.

Had a late lunch of toast. This bread has a sweet undertone (not my usual gf loaf), and I've put the rest of it in the freezer. I'll take a couple of slices out weekday mornings.  I'm also going to stick with making a split red lentil curry / soup as I do that so well.

Food plans for next week are toast, shakes for breakfast, hummus and celery, spicy soup, for lunch, fruit and yoghurt for snacks. I've got fruit and nut packets too.

No real plans for the next week, aside from Tuesday - popping to the garage for oil change and a/c, a coffee while waiting for the shops to open, popping to the grain shop for bits and maybe a look in a previously loved bookshop.

I'll finish tweaking my CV and preparing a cover letter.

So far nothing further from college, the module starts in 9 days.

I'm reluctant to apply for other roles as I do need to dedicate all my time to this module to ensure I pass it. All the other modules are easier to do round work.

Nothing from the LA, which means I may get the module completed before starting my new role, which would be great. I still think it's a good stepping stone to get me back into my career.
    - If there's still nothing as I approach the end of the module, then I'll get applying to other companies and look at temp work; the latter would suit 18 months of study as I could have a month off on the run up to exams for revision.

It's a warm, muggy day. I'll pop out to the garden to rabbit proof more of it, but aside from that I'm resting up.

I've done a bit of weeding and covering up spuds. Forgot to take seeds down and must remember tomorrow. No need to water is enough rain has fallen for today.

We popped to T, I didn't pay attention to what TomBo was up to but cat food was £30, we got a winter duvet £12, hair dye £5 flowers £5, fruit, veg and other stuff, unfortunately the razer £10 should have been blades he picked up. As you can see, it wasn't a cheap shop, but we don't need to buy certain things for a while now!

Sibling has annoyed me by booking a holiday. I appreciate they want time away, but have their priorities wrong when they should be clearing debt and buying the property. Still so much growing up to do and need to shift into the real world 😤

    We're having pasta for tea.
