Thank you Chrystal, Skinty and Atrixa
I got tired reading it back and knowing I'll be doing similar each day, with a bigger helping of studying very soon!
I've had to pop back to the garage as they forgot to put the MOT retest through. I have booked in the oil and air con for Tuesday.
Flopped back on the sofa when I got in, regained enough energy and sang "happy frappé" as I padded through to the kitchen; TomBo burst out laughing and was surprised I waited so long.
Received a refund for the top I purchased. Told I could keep it but just have to find a small friend it will fit 🤨
Called the college about my registration, they'll be in touch soon. I'm mindful it's less than 2 weeks before the module starts and I should have done prep before the first day.
I've reworked outgoings for July, got them down to just under £758. I can get them a bit lower if I don't need to buy petrol and continue to be careful with where I'm visiting.
I'll try and sort my chair etc out today. Garden has had a good natural water and it's very muggy out.
Still on track for swimming Friday.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5 -
Altered my chair and it's better, still needs a little more adjustment.
An agency approached me about a job, I've sent my CV, but I doubt anything will come of it.
I've spoken with my new boss a few times and I'm not liking the way I have been spoken to. It's not sitting well with me, especially where I'd be dependent on them doing the training and asking for info. At least it's not a permanent role.
Spoke with TomBo about it and other things. He's set me a challenge of updating LK-IN and my CV tomorrow, also apply for the jobs I've spotted, to give me control of the situation.
- I've redone most of my CV and started a covering letter.

If you already don't feel right about it - that doesn't seem a good sign. Jobs like that are very busy currently. I imagine the team are under a lot of pressure.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

That's what I keep telling myself SH, but it's still not sitting right with me, even the way I was spoken to when being offered the job; especially after what I've just left. Which is why I've been a bit 'off' about it and trying to look at the good points.
I wasn't going to post about it, but wanted to get it off my chest.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
I hope the new boss is ok enough when you start, but as you say it is only for 6 months.
I will be on 6 months probation and I have promised myself I will serve out that time period. After that who knows.

Thanks DIA, I am slightly worried approaching the boss to ask questions will result in me experiencing the same time / response as I've had on the phone, which isn't great when in a job I've never done before.
6 months will pass quite quickly and if it's not for you, there's an out. Just use it for the extra money as it will come in handy.
The career role I was declined for being too experienced is still trying to recruit for it and I'm tempted to reapply, only directly this time. I'm wide awake as I've been mentally writing the covering letter 😃

You've got nothing to lose by applying again. It seems seems soul destroying to put yourself in a nasty situation again. Really hope you can come up with a good solution. XXX
I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy3 -
Why not apply direct as you say?

Thanks Chrystal and SH, I've not yet decided what to do as I've spent most of the day alternating between bed and sofa, trying to grab some sleep. TomBo is even less than impressed with the meds to help me sleep than I am.
Now I'm up, I'm beginning to think I should put my energy into a new company. At the same time thinking do this 6 month stint, focus on getting 2 modules finished and then target new companies. Perhaps I'm not rested enough to make a proper decision today!
The college have called, they're processing my application and will email me details, then I can pay for the module. Be happier when I'm fully enrolled and can add that to my CV.
I do need to be putting a lot of energy into finishing my higher qualification.
