Thanks FBB, Skinty and WW
It's his MH which causes the problems, he shouldn't be working. Neither of us are prepared for him to finish at that time of night, we did it for a while before in his previous job and it had a huge impact on my health.
We are fine on my income alone as I can save nearly ¹/3 of it when the car is paid off, even with the increase in utilities.
Had a no holds barred conversation today, tore strips off one of the MD and said about the carp I've been dealing with since starting, busting my b-lls on a daily basis, taking on everything they throw at me, including now training someone and I'm sick of constantly waiting for other people so I can clear work. Showed a mass of papers I'd 'inherited' and said how my predecessors haven't done their jobs right for years, so now it's fallen on to me. How I'm getting the flack for them not being adequately supervised and I won't tolerate being micromanaged as a result of their failures and when I say something hasn't been done, this is how I know. How I'm not being given full information to do my job, if people can't do their jobs, teach me and I'll do them factoring it into my working week. Said I'd had enough and I'm giving my notice. Resignation not accepted and other D's are getting pulled up tomorrow to get their poo together as the MD has seen a lot of changes since I've started.
Had kudos off my workmates for speaking out and 'Jack' has been in hiding ever since as he knows the MD will rip him a new A--hole 😀Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Sorry to hear about Tombo's job. I suppose all we can do is save up in the good times and ride out the bad ones.
Good for you speaking up at work2 -
I hope things work out for you both. It must be difficult when he can’t work, won’t claim, but feels like he should be working. I hope he can find some peace of mind and that doesn’t involve you having to slog your guts out doing all the work. Sorry if I have spoken out of turn.Well done for speaking out at work0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks Atrixa and Skinty
I'm sure we all expected my post, we're all used to me saying he's lost another one 🤭 he can go back to doing what he does best, being a stay at home parent to cat.
You've not spoken out of turn. I always think whatever is said here, would be said to me if we happened to meet 😃
I kept it brief to cover enough so you knew what had gone on, I didn't hold back and still loads more to be said, but only so much can be taken in and acted on at any one time. My back up plan is jump into temping, although I'm still getting almost daily contact from agencies about permanent jobs and I'm keeping an eye on what pops up.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

Thanks Chrystal, once I've sorted everything out, if I'm still around, pay would be the next thing I'd target as I did say they don't pay me enough for all the s--t I'm doing and having to put up with.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4

Things sound challenging again on the work front. I hope you find a way forward that works for you both.

Thanks DIA, it's been challenging from the off, I've just not mentioned it. Even today another thing hit the fan, I said when they've sorted their s--t out come speak with me and walked off 😃Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5

I'm glad to hear that you are putting your foot down with them. You usually find that you are much more respected when you do, and hopefully they'll learn a lesson and start to behave themselves! Don't let the !!!!!!!! grind you down (((hugs)))I Believe.....
