It's been a very busy day, I've not done the driving!
Went to the butcher, got steak and pork for us, lamb and steak as gifts. Spent £44.
Flower shop, TomBo got a gorgeous bouquet for aunt. Spend unknown.
Went to a village I like, picked up handmade soaps and loose spicy 'tea'. Spent £12.
Popped to a charity shop a bit further down the same road and donated 3 bags full of clothes, bedding, towels and make up. Purchased some books and a gorgeous vase type thing. Spent £6 and TomBo grabbed £10 of my change and donated that too.
The village had a great community feel, people chatting away, others apologising for their dog wanting me to play etc. It's high on my list due to amenities and it's water one side, hills the other.
Went to another village as it has a deli, got meats, cheese, ice cream, sorbet and leaving gift. Spent £50.
TomBo picked up whiskey and gifts for workmates. Spent £90 😲
Filled the car. Cost £40.
Spent a pleasant few hours with aunt and uncle, catching up and both looked well; A has a lot of health issues and was the most mobile, relaxed, I've ever seen her. Big hugs all round and checking how I am.
It was interesting comparing the two villages (soap / charity village Vs deli village) straight after each other with shopping, the people etc and I preferred the first one as it's retained the old charm and character, while having a good 'feel' to it.
We saw loads of villages on my property list and they remain on it, a few more have been added too. I've seen water, hills, rolling countryside and know north of my county is where we should buy next. We just have to keep going to them, using the businesses and when it's time to move, we'll know which is the right one for us.
I'm tired, got my feet up, but ice cream season has finally arrived 😀Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -

Very spendy, Skinty. All budgeted as March is an expensive one with birthday's and mother's day.
There's a kind of whiskey club group in his office and he wanted to introduce some little known, but nice, ones. His own better bottle is where the bulk of his spend went and pretty much the only real treat he has.
He's trying to retain this job, even got another warning from uncle to keep his mouth. I couldn't help but laugh and agree, although I know his job is very stressful as he's unable to help those who genuinely need it; it's the helplessness which is getting to him.
Today we're organising the pantry and I'll have a pamper.
The soap I used for shaving my legs last week meant I had soft, silky legs all week and I could almost get away with bare legs today, which is totally unheard of for me.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Pantry has been decluttered, I'll organise it next weekend.
Mains water is increasing in temperature, my shower was warm and cosy, felt luxurious with my San Spa products. I used the F in Nature soap for shaving my legs beforehand.
We had kebab for tea, ice cream for pudding and second pudding.

Extravagant while it lasted!
We're back down to one income at the end of this month. TomBo was offered redeployment however he'd finish so late there's no buses and I can't be collecting him at midnight as I need rest and drive quite far to get to my job.
I have sat here quietly all night and want to cry. It feels like I jinx things when I make plans for the future.
I've redone my spreadsheet and altered my plan for clearing the remaining CF.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
So sorry, hope he finds another job soon2

I'm not holding my breath FBB, you'll get used to me posting up he's lost a job, not working for ages, me thinking the new job is the one he'll hold down, make plans and he'll lose it.

Is there a field that interests and excites him that he may wish to hold onto more? Sorry I don’t remember the history from your diary 🙊2

Sorry to hear about Tombo’s job. Is there any chance he could cycle there or a small motorbike?0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
