Thanks Chrystal
I'm finding myself in awkward situations where I'm spotting problem after problem, error after error.
I've changed tactics today. Found an issue, looked into it, detailed everything and said what each person had to do to fix it. It worked, but I shouldn't be telling D's how to do their jobs!
Looks like I'll be the one who accepts responsibility for everything, takes charge and turns it around. No one has the b-lls to do it, do it well and do it right. I've stepped up and stuck my management hat on, make or break as it's their last chance.
We have pork chops, mash and carrots for tea.

Doing what I do best SH, same as I've done in every job, then walking away when not getting an appropriate promotion after putting blood, flesh and tears into my role. In the interim I'm refreshing my experience.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5

Thanks Skinty, I genuinely do hope so as it's got the potential to be so good!
Guess who's been left overseeing everything for a few weeks while MD is out 😉
It was a lovely day, warm sunshine, lunch paid for and a selection of ice creams appearing in the afternoon; there are some nice touches.
I'm hoping to do a bit of gardening tomorrow and sow seeds, possibly dye my hair, brows and lashes if I've the energy. Sunday I'll rest as I've pushed too hard this week.
I've donated money to a couple of charities this week, cashed in bank rewards to do it.
We had soup with chilli and cheese bread, bar of chocolate for pudding.

It was django unchained, funny in parts, parts had me thinking what the ..... am I watching.
Sunshine is streaming through the back of the flat and edging into the front.
Tweaked the GCH. Now it's only 2x 15 minutes in the evenings and that may be too much; I'm hoping to have it fully off before the end of this month.
- When it comes to next winter I'll be doing the on / off timer again.
Sipping my coffee before I get ready and see what's going on outside.

Thanks Skinty
The weather was glorious! Went out to potter in the garden and had to remove layers. I'll be in leggings and a vest soon, instead of tracksuit bottoms / jeans and vest / cardigan.
Who'd have thought 10° would feel so good on bare arms and shoulders 😃
Planted the onions, did some weeding and gathered some kale / herbs.
Went for a sleep this afternoon, my cat got me up when TomBo went for a run, she proceeded to sleep and I've resisted prodding her ever since!
I'm hoping to dye my hair / brows / lashes tomorrow, did the plucking etc between films this evening.
I'll also drop the GCH down to 15 minutes only for late evening and sow seeds to get them underway inside.
Breakfast was coffee. Lunch was toasted cheese on chia seed bread. Tea was mushroom and kale risotto. Pudding was ice cream, a macaroon for later pudding and a packet of crisps for supper.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5 -
A glorious, warm and sunny day. Windows are open and I've stayed inside; body has failed today and I won't be having a pamper.
I've sowed tomato and chilli seeds, they're sunbathing in the creative room.
Currently for sale are two properties which caught my eye.
- A 3 bed stone house, with garden about the size of mine, in the village I wanted when looking originally. Usually sell for my normal budget.
- A 2 bed former fisherman's cottage with a front yard and close enough to the water I could walk it. Similar ones have sold for my absolute maximum budget, full mortgage, all proposed savings and estimated inheritance. I've already worked out how I would make the yard work for growing 🤭
What I'm learning from property window shopping is it's definitely the locations I'm after and the property itself I'd make work. Have to keep saving.
TomBo has cooked a rice and bean soup for his lunches. Made a spicy Italian sausage and tomato soup for tea tomorrow, defrosting spag bol for Tuesday, soup and bread night Wednesday, fish fingers and waffles Thursday, soup and bread Friday.
- Plans might change as I've entered a comp my butcher is running and I may try the fishcakes my breadman has.
I've had toasted cheese on chia seed bread for lunch. We're having pizza for tea.
