Great news about Tombo!3
-
Thanks Atrixa
Possibly a bit of movement in mine. There's talks of me expanding a bit into what the business actually does, if it happens I'd be the first female to do it in its history! It all stemmed from a "don't suppose you do......." followed by a "yes, but not done it for a few years".
I can still hear the sexist male jaws hitting the floor ringing in my ears as women shouldn't know how to do 'man' stuff.
I'll finish the conversation off this week, including salary for doing it, and leave the ball in the MD's hands. I've already started having training for a different role to assist another 'department' and will get a lot more next month.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
I've the wrong anatomy to branch further into the company and started looking at another way of making more money from them. I'm now covering while the MD's working elsewhere for a bit.
I quickly shaved my legs this morning and rocked up in summer gear, good decision as the heating is still on and I had my window open all day. By the time I finished it was 17° outside. I'll be taking an iced coffee in on the warm days!
I have watered both gardens and will try to do gardening tomorrow, and more watering. Everything is doing well and I'll be harvesting all the kale as it's developing flowers. I'll also sow some root veg and get my spuds in.
The last 15 min heating timer has been switched off, hopefully that's it until winter.
£151 in the bank, most is the CF, some is for petrol a tiny bit is for food, 6 days until payday.

Sounds like you have made the most of the warm weather ☀️
I shaved part way up my legs to wear cut off trousers to work earlier in the week 😆 It was still so hot as there are no windows and we are not allowed to use fans due to covid. I will finish the rest of the legs today.

Haha Skinty, I only did knee down to get into leggings 🤭
Hope you're getting cold water to cool from the inside out, damp flannel on face / arms can make a difference too.
Got up at 6.30 as the flat was so bright, I've gone around opening all the windows.
TomBo went for a run, got some shopping and sorted petrol out.
I've had pastries for breakfast and sipping on herbal tea. This is what warm weather weekends are all about!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -

Great that Tombo got a different job. Keeping my finger crossed that all goes well with; it and he can settle into it, as it must have lifted some stress from your shoulders.Am I right in thinking that 'the wrong anatomy' had to do with the job that they hadn't done for years? They sound like strange folk up there!I assume (and we know what that does!) that some people won't be too happy about you covering for the MD.... hope you're getting well compensated! The houses sound lovely. Everytime I read about the area you live in I wonder where it is?Take care of yoursself and enjoy the nice weather and your lovely garden. XXI Believe.....

Such great weather today, and keeping the heating off will lift all our spirits! Pastries sound lovely3
