Wow, the CF has gone. I remember when you told us about your first drive in that and it doesn't seem that long ago.
Mortgage balance is looking fab bet you can't wait for it to be under 50k!

Thanks Skinty and LW2G
It was the end of July I got the car and originally planned to clear it by the end of last year, but with funeral costs etc going on the CC I didn't stand a chance. Instead, I prioritised clearing the CC, then threw loads at the CF to clear that this year.
At this stage I'm a bit in limbo with my plans; even TomBo asked if I was targeting the mortgage next! I tried to extract his opinions 🤨
I got the mortgage down to, just under, £60k at the end of December.
My budget for the rest of this year allows for £100pm O/P, with the bulk of money going into savings.
Since starting over I've cleared bad debt while saving for the flat deposit, increased savings, saved again since buying the flat, cleared 'clean' debt while saving and I think I'm mentally spent. I've decided to just save for a bit and review everything in a few months as a brain recharge will do me good.
I have booked a long weekend off, as TomBo's start date has been moved and we'll have the tail end of his 'holiday' together. The weather is supposed to be reasonable 😃 cleaning my car is definitely on my list!

Thank you SH
You can understand why I'm mentally spent after clearing that much. Balancing each penny carefully, budgeting and rebudgeting to figure out how to get the mortgage to £60k by NYE, the quickest time span to clear the CC and then the CF before the new tax year. We're having all four seasons, sometimes over a week, a day or even an hour!
I'll admit to putting the heating on for an hour last night. TomBo was very cold, I was wrapped in a blanket with a hot water bottle and was warm.
It's 7° up here, sunshine warm but not baking hot, a couple of windows are open.
I've done weeding, prepared another plot for sowing and a bit of harvesting during my first session. Second session I watered both gardens.
We're planning our long weekend together, on the list so far is a visit to the deli (ice cream and Italian meat shop), got 4 days to plot it all.
I'm sat dancing on the sofa while listening to music, stuff the pain 😃Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

Thanks SW and DIA
Had some rest, not pain free.
Cat came to bed in the middle of the night. She woke up a couple of hours later and demanded food. It was TomBo's turn to get up and deal with her. It's like being a parent!
Imagine S.market sweep TomBo rushing down the different isles, returning with arms full of stuff, I'm casually walking around, the trolley was piled high. Unpacking when we got home resulted in several duplicate items, only mine were cheaper. Stocked up on meat, veg, yogurt, tins, lots of treats, cat food, bathroom stuff for me and I added a bunch of carnations. Cost £90 and my little car was full, he had to do three trips to get everything from car to flat.
- TomBo always goes overboard when he gets paid.
Filled up the car, cost £40.03, phew, was glad to see fuel had come down.
I've handwashed the car, dropped the sponge and told TomBo several times not to put the sponge anywhere near my car. I'm very touchy when it comes to my motors, especially one that cost me thousands!
I've composted the dying old carnations, added the new ones, now I have a mix of old frilly pink and new red in my vase. I'll keep doing it this way as they're only £2.50 and last for ages.
So far two tomato seedlings have appeared, I'm hoping the rest pop up over the next few days. I don't need to water the gardens as it's currently raining.
All that food we purchased? TomBo decided were having chippy night 🙈Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1
