    Thanks Skinty and SW

I think there's a 'language blip'.  We all know English has a lot of words to form a sentence compared, other languages, and I'm guessing some get lost.

Chemist are supposed to be delivering my meds tonight, hope they do as I've got none for tomorrow.

My new driving licence arrived today, only took 6 actual days including the day I went to the PO.

I'm looking forward to the weekend and having some rest.

We had spag bol for tea.

  • Thanks SH, me too! I'm hoping this will be my last job and it will see me through for when I'm ready to stop working.

I'll be calling the chemist again tomorrow, my meds haven't been delivered.

Chemist delivered my meds earlier, bit of a silly saga about why they didn't yesterday.

I've created an ongoing database for one aspect of my role, panned through the reviews and next week I can clear nearly 50 off it. I can then start filtering the debt collection work into my daily routine too; need to come up with a functional database for that. Both will go up and down like a yo-yo each week.

I'm having donner meat and chips, TomBo and cat are having fish and chips.

Time to put my feet up and I'll plan tomorrow when I get up.

  • Glad work is sorted out and you have a resolution you are happy with.

I had fish and chips yesterday too. Total yum  :)

  • Thanks DIA and SH

Had a rough night, as to be expected due to the meds issue. Managed a couple of hours when TomBo got up.
    - He's doing running / jogging every other morning and I like hearing about his adventures.

The CC co haven't taken the DD, perhaps I've finally mastered the art of using the app to override the DD request when I do manual payments. For now I'm hanging on to the money and will transfer it across a few days before payday.

A button has popped up on the DB site for me to ask for a transfer value, as they're clearly not doing it off my email. That should be with me in about 3 weeks.

I've seen a nice house for sale, with a fantastic garden (has potential for self-sufficiency), in a village I like. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about it as I'd need the inheritance to make up the difference between amount I can borrow and cost of it. I'm surprised it's still on the market.
    - all helps with the ground work as to what I would buy next and what I would compromise on. Also keeps my momentum going with clearing debt and saving.

Nothing exciting planned for today, just loads of rest and I'll attempt to brush my hair; I can't do it every day but refuse to have it cut off for ease 🤫

£295 in the bank, £49 is earmarked for petrol and the rest bills. £40 in my purse.
