Thanks SH and SW
If I can clear the CC as planned I would have only incurred £5.34 interest, I think it's reasonable due to the circumstances and the most the bank have had from me 😉
I've got my licence sorted, cost £21.50 at the PO.
Went to T and got a load of reduced ox tail, various pork, a huge pie, plus full price steak, sausage, veg and other food related items. I grabbed hair dye, 6 - 12 months of ToM products (only 2 packets and 2 liners), pamper face masks, some vanilla body spray, cost £61.
Filled my car up, cost £26 as I'm filling up each week. Did my tyres, cost 50p.
I didn't go to the shopping centre, we are going next week.
I've got just under £400 in the bank to last for 3 weeks; £290 is for bills, £50 earmarked for O/P, £49 earmarked for petrol 🙈
Just remembered I still got my December cash 🤭 that will cover brows and I will refund some into the food budget to cover my 'me' spends from today.

The JL deliveries arrived first thing, two huge boxes with loads of padding.
TomBo now has food storage boxes coming out his ears. I don't think he read the descriptions to see the size of one style, it's almost like a cake storage box with smaller ones inside. Hope he can find space for them all.
- I've claimed the beakers as they'll be good for work.
I'm very happy with the trough for my succulents, plenty of room for them to grow. It's slate grey, which should look nice in the shower room.- just need to get compost and I can transplant them, need to look and see if they can grow in what I've already got.
I picked this particular trough as whether we stay, or move, we'll be having an ultra modern shower room, and it fits with my overall concept.
Temperature is dropping quickly since I got back and the heating isn't due to go on for ages yet, nope I'm getting too cold to sit in this as the sun is fading quickly too.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

Thanks Skinty and SH
I'll admit to having a mini panic when I wrote the money leftovers down as there's about £5 for food! However, as always my freezer and cupboards are full and I've got £50 in my 'float'.
Financially I'll settle again after the CC is cleared next month and it's just the CF outstanding.
I must start doing some surveys again, get that built up more, as I can get supermarket vouchers it provides a cushion. I've got £68 and the vouchers are sent within minutes.
I know it must seem strange when I worry about 'money', with how much I've got in the bank. It would be too easy to think it's ok, I can do what I want, but all my savings have a purpose. I like having options 😊
Gosh, I'm a proper chatterbox today!
We're having steak pie for tea, one of my yellow bargains, was £7.50, got £4 off it 😀Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5 -
Pie wasn't good. It had too much salt and looked nothing like the box. Instead of a rich gravy with chunks of meat, it was mush with filo pastry. Cat enjoyed her bit.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3

I think having to potentially use so much of your EF recently - that was scary - and made you want a bigger one. That feeling will settle. You are making great financial progress every month.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

TomBo decided we were having a trip to Eburg today.
Shopping location one. I went into T picked up some thick tights, cat food, fruit and veg, £5.98 cash and £10 voucher.
He popped to another shop, got socks and trainers.
Shopping location two. M&$, picked up PJs and a different PJ trousers, bread and sweet treats, £1.65 cash and £20 voucher. Brow girl doesn't work on Sunday's.
Shopping location three. TomBo went to PaH for cat food. I went to the charity shop but didn't buy anything.
We were home in time for coffee and toast 😀
TomBo has cleaned the windows, I've finally managed to get a sun dried recycled bag off the window ledge; I know not to use that under my pots this year!
Don't think I said yesterday, I picked up a diary to keep contact details in the address part. I'm going to use the diary part as a pain diary. A GP at my practice has an interest in rheumatoid conditions.
- I've found a huge thread where people are talking about what I think I've got. I go through post after post nodding as they list off their symptoms as it all tallies with me.
I'm starting to plan the next makeover of the flat and need to check when I can realistically afford to buy what I want. If I could do the finishing touches and get another room done this year, I'd be really happy.

Oooh a trip to Edinburgh, one of my fave cities with lovely coffee shops.
Another room ready would be a great achievement. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thank you DIA we didn't go into the city itself but a few of the shopping centres, didn't think they would mean much to people so didn't name them.
What was good about today is it reminded me of why it was easy for me to move away, it's only really the city I like. Even the area I first moved to changed a lot in the short time I lived there.
It will only be a makeover while deciding whether to stay or move further up. Spending lots of money on the kitchen and shower room takes it away from making changes to a new home, if we move.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2
