I echo this. Hugs. Sounds like a tough day but you made it.

    Thanks SW and Skinty
I am actually annoyed about the mix up as I can't afford to be wasting money like that, however I've tried to turn it into a bit of a joke.

I'd been trying to play down how exhausted I am.

I'm wiped out and at the moment I don't see my energy levels rising enough to do anything aside from work until I've dealt with the sad stuff. It's going to drag out for ages and hit me financially as I'm under a lot of pressure to go back down very soon, which I can't afford to do, and it also won't help with energy levels as it will be a lot of driving, visits and trying to tidy up.

I've written off the last 2 years due to the climate and currently debating writing this one off due to the sad stuff.

What I've sussed is overdoing it, means I'm overtired and then I can't sleep, which impacts my health the next day. I'm currently trapped in a viscous circle.

There is a reason they were trying to give you more bereavement leave. Ask if you can take it now.

    Thanks SH and SW
I went to bed when TomBo got up and managed a bit of sleep.

I've a broad range of BHs off throughout the year, including winter, which will break my time up. I'm going to try and time some of the trips to coincide with the days off, save me using my hols up.

It's freezing today and I've had a hot choc, may have another when I go back in 😀

I've delayed my JL deliveries to Saturday as I didn't fancy over £100 worth of stuff sat on my doorstep til I get home from work.

I'm planning on popping to the shopping centre the weekend, get my brows threaded, buy hair dye and spend the M&$ voucher. I'll try and colour my brows one evening.

We had spag bol for tea, I had spiced marmalade on toast for pudding, TomBo had cheese sandwiches.

  • Good idea changing the delivery time. I don’t know why delivery companies think it’s ok to leave parcels in the doorstep.

Strange puddings today😳😆 probably needed carbs due to the cold weather. I’m with you on the hot chocolate 😋

I was WFH for nearly 2 years and the postie was used to me being in. There's been a few small deliveries which can get tucked by the door, but I didn't fancy big boxes sat there.

You'll be amazed at the different 'puddings' we have, although I probably should have called it a snack instead. Unfortunately it seems like toast is a no go with my IBS, which is a shame as it's quick to do.

TomBo got paid and I've cleared some of the CC, it's now down to £900 outstanding. I'll be glad when it's paid off.
