    Thank you DIA

It's the second day of the year and we have the windows open 😊

I managed a lie-in, although TomBo got up early.

TomBo's done the housework and it is a benefit having laminate in the lounge; I'm tempted to take up the rest of the carpet to reveal it in the hall and bedrooms but worry about noise traveling to No1.

In a few months I'd like to get the lounge and hall finished off and give the second bedroom a coat of white; TomBo has scuffed the wall when moving furniture but thankfully not damaged the paper.

I've another few days left before I'm back in work.

Thanks SW, although I got my dates mixed up and only have one day left ☹️

TomBo and I got our heads together and we've a load of stuff coming from JL. TomBo selected a load of kitchen storage, bowls and other bits, I picked a planter for my cactus. There's some voucher left and we will take a trip to W in a few months as there isn't one in our county!

Bills come out my account tomorrow and I'll be stretching what money I do have left until payday.

Tomorrow I'll have a pamper, walk round the village (if the weather is ok) and a final rest.

It was beef stew for tea, just debating pudding!

Glad you found a use for the JL voucher. Well done on the gardening and the soup.

    Thanks SH

Looks like I'm still getting my dates mixed up as tomorrow (today) is a BH and no bills will move until Tuesday!

It's quite windy with sleet / hail stones / rain, but warm.

I've had biscuits as an early morning snack and have my feet up.

It's a double BH today for both of them Skinty, perhaps my day will be twice as long.

I've managed a few hours sleep since TomBo went to work. It's horrible outside and I'll stay in.

My plans are shave legs, shower and cook tea.

Not sure where I saw it as a doubled up day Skinty.

I've double checked my email from before I was offered the role and it says I'm in tomorrow, but I think we only get the UK ones rather than Scottish ones on top as it's 8 BHs a year I get. Be so funny if I drag myself in and no-one else turns up 🤣

TomBo has done his shift and I got him to fill the car up on his way back. Unfortunately, he didn't pay attention to how much it cost and I have to wait for it to show in a few days so I can update my spreadsheet accurately.

I'm washing the cat bedding and once that's done I can have my shower.

I'll be roasting some chicken and spuds later.
