A crate of booze was delivered to work today and distributed between all of us, it looks nice; I'll save it for Christmas 😊

Effortlessly got loads of work done and it does feel like I've fallen on my feet with this role. It's the small details I'm appreciating.

I did a mini shop after work, spent £15.

CC is now down to £800, my stress about this is beginning to reduce. The DD is due next week and when I get paid I can clear another chunk.

We had soup for tea, we forgot to take something out the freezer! Had coconut covered sponge cake for pudding and we agreed I'd never buy them again 🙈

My weekend list is growing: brows threaded, buy hair dye, use M&$ voucher, renew driving licence photo.

Thanks SH, it should be cleared within 7 weeks and then I can start the O/Ps on the car, increase the mortgage O/Ps again and work out my trip date.

good news on all the payments  :)

I agree the coconut covered cakes don't sound great...

I would have thought coconut covered sponge cake sounded nice, (especially covered in custard) what a disappointment 😆

I think I’ve seen soup and pudding night is a recommended moneysaving meal on old style forums.

Great that the new job is effortless 😁 and well done on getting the credit card down. You will soon clear it so try not to stress

Have a lovely relaxing pamper weekend

    Thanks DIA and Skinty

Perhaps if it had custard it wouldn't have been so dry!

In theory homemade soup / cake is quite cheap to make, I can see why it would be recommended.

Like everyone else, I'm pleased it's Friday. It's been a shock to the system being back at work.

    Totally agree with this ^^^

Your week was additionally stressful when you factor in the unnecessary trip to work and back caused by lack of correct info from employer.

Hopefully we can all have a relaxing weekend after today

Thanks Skinty, It also would have been her cake day, which made the error even worse.

Anyhow, I've got through the week and have my feet up, TomBo has dozed off; feel like doing it myself.

I'm trying to drag submitting my utility readings and get the bill close or payable by payday, it may take a couple of months to slowly inch it along; I pay the used amount each month and don't have a DD set up.

I've not made a mortgage O/P yet this month, I'll do it towards payday just to make sure I've got through ok.

Got the next 2 months as CT free months, which is nice, but it goes to clear the CC.

I'll be back on my feet in a few months and with lower stress.

TomBo treated me to chips and curry sauce, he had pizza and shared it with cat.

To clear your CC in 7 weeks sounds really good going. You should give yourself credit for that.
