I am glad you got to go out and see bits and do things. It helps change your focus and sort things out. I have only been to the tourist areas of Edinburgh and loved it. Let's wish for a good week.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Thanks SW, SH and Skinty
Apologies SH I missed your post about wanting a bigger EF! It's not really that, I've always unofficially earmarked it all for moving up the ladder, on the off chance that opportunity would arise. Although it hasn't taken that long to save it, it's my 'life savings'.
The bits I visited were nothing to shout about, too built up and felt closed in. Again, I'm spoilt where I live.
The other thread I can only read a few pages a day. It's so draining and makes me more determined to focus on what I can do and can achieve!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Hi MF,
Sorry you are feeling it atm, not surprising given the circumstances. Your money plans look good and you are in a good position. I think the main thing atm is resting when your body tells you 2. I hope everything gets sorted soon for.Mortgage Aug 2019 161,000 :eek::eek:Nov 2019 156,500:T Jan 2020 153,122:T, Apr 2020 149,500, Apr2021 139, 675, Oct 2021 136,823, Dec 2021 136,120🙂EF 0/12,000 (0%)😕 (5062.44 was ERC), Jan 2023 128,650. Got woken up at 1.30am, I thought upstairs had burst pipes, turned out it was rain hitting the detached side of the flat where the bedrooms are. I've not heard it do that before and hope it doesn't do it again. It took hours to get off to sleep again, then TomBo got up and I could have cried when my alarm went off.
I've tweaked my budgets a little for when the CC is paid off, putting a bit extra into my early retirement pots. These are totally earmarked for when I retire and form part of my FIRE aim.
- I'm still showing as an active member, with no leave date, for the DB pension, which is frustrating.
We had pork chops, mash and veg for tea.

Thanks SH and Skinty
It was a rough, uncomfortable night. I've been taking meds when I get up so I can move around a bit and get ready.
TomBo took the car and went for a run this morning, I've tried to explain I need every bit of petrol this month as I've not got much money to keep filling up; it's 300 miles just for the commute.
- I've tweaked my petrol budget upwards for next month and beyond.
