Thanks SW, it's not RA, but for reason those are the Drs who deal with what I think I've got.

Bit of a moaning post today!

The chemist have changed their opening hours, I'm not sure how they expect working people to get to them during the reduced hours, they no longer open on a Saturday either.

Work are altering my job and adding physical aspects. It's annoying as they know one of the reasons I left the last role was because of my limitations.

Gas and electric bill was £116, I have used a lot of heating over the Christmas break.

We had soup and toast, TomBo claimed the tomato soup and I had to opt for chicken noodle.

  • I can see how annoying those changes might be. You sound 'out of sorts' today. I hope you have a restful night.

  • Thanks SH and DIA

Everything is testing my patience today and rubbing me up the wrong way!

There's some good news, my old DB has finally got me down as a deferred member. Hopefully they'll send me a figure for the transfer value; monthly amount stands at £50 and in theory it should mean it's under £30k. If it's too low, I'll keep asking each year until it gets to £25k+ and then transfer it.

The pensions, DB and SIPP I'm building up as my early retirement pots.

The current work pension and any subsequent roles are my boost pots for state pension.

I've also got my S&S ISA and PBs to provide cash savings.

I hope that work will compromise and glad your pension is being sorted - I think that's what DB is?

    Hope you are resting tonight.

Thanks SW, the DB is a pension.

I doubt there will be a compromise and briefly outed my health in front of everyone today, much to their surprise with nods from a couple who knew and can spot when pain levels are off. I'll dust off my CV and get a different job if I have to, I need a desk based only job.

I'm getting 28p compensation from a PDL company. That's the last of the financial refunds.

I am so upset for you, it is so hard with medical conditions, i wish people would consider us but they just care about their business, we must persist and beat them you are clever enough to do it my friend. I do hope they compromise. Good luck i think they may come round as they do like you. Whatever happens stay strong, Skinty and I have dealt with nonsense like this from employers, mine wouldnt listen at all but it still felt good to tell them what i thought. We are always with you dont forget that.

    Thanks Skinty and SW
I'm gutted to. I'd hoped they were different based on what they had done to date and even asked at the interview about health conditions / meds. They've seen me taking meds and asked how I can stay awake all day on them. They've seen my health change from one day to the next. I've had to speak with one about knocking my chair as it increases my pain. Even when I do a bit of filing it's one thing at a time, rather than a batch. It just doesn't make any sense why they would then want me to do a few proper physical things!

Petulant child alert - I just wanted a job that will last me for 12 years until I retire early.

Tell me about it, you are stronger dont let anyone get you down. It is just a job a means to an end that's how i see my place. You are not a petulant child, they are a weak employer if they dont value you. Thinking of you, loads to do here better go.
