  • Well done on the weight loss. 🤗 I think I read on SH’s diary a post which said 1lb a week is nearly 4 stone in a year, which is amazing if you can keep it going. I know it’s difficult remaining active in the colder months and when your pain levels are high but you are doing well without trying so imagine how you could do when you are ready/ once you start trying 🤗

    Thanks SH, Skinty and RL

I should be about an 8 for my height, but I'll see how it goes on my 'not trying' weightloss. Having thought about it overnight, I'm hoping this way it will stay off; dieting normally sees it all come back on.

TomBo got up at 4.30am and I went to bed, managed a couple of hours sleep.

I've done something to my left leg / hip overnight, feels like I don't have marrow but a bar running through my bones, each step has made the 'bar' break through the bone, the pain is unbearable. I was chatting with a work mate, who was shocked to see the change in me today and my right knee cracked, echoing round the building; I didn't know if I would pass out, be sick or fall in a heap and I felt the horror from the lad. I carefully leaned back and said I'd wait a while before attempting to move again 🤣
    - I've told everyone it is still a 'better' day and they'll get used to seeing when I'm a million times worse.

It's always awkward trying to explain how the pain I experience feels, even to Drs, as it doesn't fit the tingling / throbbing / sharp descriptions they're used to hearing. This is why I rarely see a medical person as it's dismissed as being impossible, it shows each health issue is seen in isolation and not as a package with everything.

I think I've also worked out how 'determination' gets me doing everything I do, it's possibly adrenaline I'm living on and could explain why I flop when not doing things. Or I could be talking out my bottom.

We had fish, chicken nuggets and waffles for tea.

    I'm pleased it's Friday tomorrow 😄

It's a bit better today, but seems to be a magnet for the cold. Funny how that happens with my painful parts.

The reference car was iced up today, we use it as a basis as to whether mine will be. TomBo scraped mine and said it wasn't as bad as the one we see.

Cat is enjoying her milk this morning.

    I'd better get ready.

I've just bought my first ever electric blanket. Have you ever tried one MF? Wondered whether it would ease some of your pains.

    Thanks Skinty and SH

I am walking better, but my normal worse side took a hammering and isn't happy. I wouldn't have an electric blanket as cat would steal it, she can smell the heat off my hot water bottle and moves in on the warmth.

My role is expanding, but in a positive way. I'm ahead on getting to grips with things and it's only a few bits I'm asking for clarification on. I'm even running all my own reports and setting the pace of my training. Got asked if I wanted to take on dealing with some contracts and quotes, jumped at the chance.
    - I filter things in to my routine and monitor capacity levels. I'll be able to have set days to do each thing, won't be pushing myself and it never hurts having more skills.

I had ox tail soup and chia seed bread, TomBo had chicken soup with cheese and leek bread.

I'm hoping to have a pamper tomorrow.
