Thank you SH, so am I. It seems they're more aware of my health than I realise.
I've just remembered the other thing I keep forgetting to say. My salary goes back to normal in April as I would have paid the tax from my first pay with them. It will be like getting a £20pm payrise 🤭
I had a lie in today, wasn't sleeping but resting my body. Good for the mind, but not for mobility.
We've got the windows open today. Out the front it looks like it will rain, out the back is blue sky.
I have nipped to the garden. Two strawberry plants are flowering and the ones I planted in the garden have settled in, as have the baby runners. My onions are popping up and the kale is doing well; it will be interesting to see how it copes with the sub-zero temps and short bout of frost next month. Other herbs and plants which should have died back / slept are still going and the comfrey is growing again too.
TomBo has been for his run and is doing the housework.
I'm going to take it easy this weekend, perhaps organise my seeds.
I think I'm too hard on myself over winter and should accept I can't do much.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Definitely be kind to yourself.

Me too SH as they shouldn't for the first 2 years when grown from seed!

I've sold some of my SIPP pots and will stick the money into buying other pots I'm happier with; they've a broad spread and saves me having to balance things. It also means I'm saving a bit on running costs.
Dozed on the sofa for a few minutes this afternoon. Went to bed and couldn't sleep, but made myself stay there for a few hours.
We had chicken stew and boiled spuds for tea; I'm not sure why TomBo does them separately either!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
I wish I was as knowledgeable about pensions. Glad you rested. My DS doesn’t like spuds done in stew either. Something to do with the texture?0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Skinty, I've learned more since having the SIPP and reading loads on the pension board. The ones I will be keeping have a bit of everything in, the ones I'm 'selling' were targeted and open to a lot more unevenness / fluctuations; not good for my nerves and I've been meaning to do this for a while.
I always mash the boiled spuds to get gravy into them when he does the stews as I like all my veg to soak up the flavour.
Told TomBo today that I'm not planning on doing much over the next few months, aside from work and rest. He was pleased to hear me say it.

Makes it easier to deal with if it's on my terms SH.
We went to my fave garden centre and I got more onions and some blight resistant early potatoes. I also picked up some fruit bushes, that's my fruit sections full and left to grow. Spent £23 but cost £0 due to using a voucher.
Borrowed garden - Onion planting next weekend. I'll also be growing spuds in bags and having other root veg in the borrowed garden. Trying to make it easier for myself.
My garden - I've got the fruit trees, fruit bushes and herbs, with flowers and bulbs. I've got one full space of garlic and one full space of onions. That leaves two full spaces and three smaller spaces for growing the rest of my veg.
I've got my feet up and resting, TomBo is cooking.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
I've just gotten up to date with your diary since neglecting this board for months!
You've been absolutely through the wringer these past few months, and I'm very sorry to hear about your bereavement. I'm really pleased that you've left that awful job and your new employer is valuing you so much more.
I'm glad you've got your feet up2 -
Thank you atrixa, all events seem like ages ago now, just have the estate hanging over me but there's a method in the madness of it taking a while.
Had my San Spa shower with ginger shampoo to wash my hair, feet are up again now. That's as far as my pamper will go today 🤭Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2
