  • 3 year plan sounds great. Bungalows usually come with big gardens so I hope you can find somewhere suitable for your veg & fruit growing.

Thanks SH, it's not got off to a good start and I refrained from ripping someone a new a--hole; they're well past SPA, will only leave feet first and their Victorian views of women will go with them.

FBB lots of root veg keep safe in compost / the ground, the woody stemmed herbs also do well over winter. I could talk for ages about growing, if there's anything specific you want to know ask!

Thanks Skinty, some of the bungalows only have yards, I'd hold out to get one on a decent plot. While I'm not yet in a position to move, for the top of my budget I can get a 2 / 3 bed bungalow, with drive and garage and a the size garden I'd like. A lower budget would be a 2 bed, with drive and rear garden about what I've got now.

Got paid today and cleared some of the CC, waiting for the main bills to come out before I get rid of the balance.
    - I'll do a Jan financial update the weekend as I like to put thought behind it and the plans for the next month.

We had pork steak with homegrown spuds and carrots.

Oh dear, sometimes you just have to throw the whole man away. I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

    Merry payday!
  • Your bungalow you are looking for sounds like my dream home too! I hope one day I can afford something like that.

I definitely want to grow more veggies this year. I only have a small garden so grew a few things in pots but nothing in at the moment
  • Thank you atrixa and FBB

Had a rough night, couldn't get comfortable in bed and ended up on the sofa snuggled with blankets.

I've had my feet up since getting in, TomBo was sent home with a vomiting bug.

Thank you FBB, atrixa and SH

I don't tend to catch TomBo's bugs, I'm also being bypassed with the ones at work.

Remember ages ago when I said how I work best.  Watching, learning, seeing the weak points and dealing with it, sweeping up the mess while changing practices and processes. That 'me' is now doing it and has so many plans to put in place 😀

Today I picked up a chilli and cheese loaf, the usual chia seed bread and little oranges.

Had soup and bread for tea.

  • Hope Tombo is better now. I always think sickness & “the other” are the worst.  Glad you haven’t caught the bug
