    Really pleased for you.
Thank you, I'm relieved as it was difficult being in limbo.

Hopefully not long to go, then I can de-stress, rebalance my health and find loads of happy places to visit every day 🙂

Most of all, I'm looking forward to having peace and quiet, surrounded by a beautiful landscape to get stuck into my photography, on rainy days I can create artwork for my home and get to use my big canvases 😀

Just moved the remaining AFs across to my MSAs, one less stress ticked off my list!

My car insurance has come out my dedicated car fund account, will start to top that up again come payday.

When my purchase completes, I will be relegating my accounts and having them as the following:

    Car fund
-- Low interest rate, but a few pence each month.
-- That will get capped at £1k for this year
-- Repeating each year but re-assessing based on previous years costs.

    Communal repairs
-- No interest, but when it gets to a decent amount I will lock some of it away and top it back up again each month.
-- No real cap on this one, just a case of keep saving and once I get to £20k can then look at making a mortgage overpayment chunk each year or locking some away.

Interior repairs / decoration / upgrades
-- Low interest rate, but a few pence per month.
-- Would be nice to have a running balance of £5k and will stay as ready access money.

    Emergency fund
    -- Reasonable interest rate.
-- Would be nice to have 12+ months of my basic outgoings.
-- Will just keep saving and again lock some of this away each year as long as I keep my 12 month ready access float.

They are long-term, ambitious goals, but will be worth it.

I will be making a small mortgage overpayment each month, gives me time to settle in and build up a bit of money again.
-- I will re-evaluate my payment each year.

Additional pension is on hold for this year due to wanting to get the savings pots going.
-- Will re-evaluate this in the New Year.
-- I have got two pots for very long-term savings which I will continue to pay into.

I've now got a £3.81 surplus from my AFs towards my savings, plus some other money tucked away.
-- I've still got a decent amount of my wages left as I've not really needed to go shopping and have had no petrol costs due to working at home.

Must do some more surveys to build up my points, these are being cashed in when I move to pay for paint.

I've still got a decent amount of supermarket points, but am saving those for Christmas as I didn't spend them last Christmas 🙈

Come payday, all my spare money is for saving into my pots and my diary should hopefully be a bit more structured again.

SYA when the tears started, there was no holding them back. It was a relief to know I'm going to be out of here soon, the lack of sleep and other things here have got to me and continue to do so.

SH, thank you. I needed to focus on something all night and thought why not my plans.

Packing will be boxes will be taped up, the room it's going into will be written on it and also a few words of what it contains:
    -- bathroom / toiletries,
-- kitchen / pots or kitchen / crockery / fragile
That way I can quickly spot the box I'm looking for when it's in the allocated room.

    I still need to buy:
    -- the shower stool.
-- curtain rails for the bedrooms, will quickly place a collection of delivery order when I get the keys. There are blinds but not blackout ones.
-- buildings and contents insurance, can't use a comparison site due to owning the building with my neighbours.

I've looked how to register for CT with the new council and can do that online, will keep the monthly payment to one side while I wait for the bill. Water is included in CT up here.

I know who the gas / electric providers are, it's the big ones so I have no concerns about getting the accounts set up. Will take photos of the meter readings.

I will write a list of pension providers, banks, loyalty cards etc and tick them off as I've updated my new address.

Driving licence will be sorted out when everything is back to normal. Can't do it online (don't ask!)

Car insurance I can update online. Will need to look to see what the DVLA offers for me changing the log book.

Now, the only awkward thing will be registering with a new Dr, will make a few enquiries into that next week as some let you register online; will also put meds request in before I'm due to leave to make sure I get enough to tide me over during the switch over.

I've discussed time off from work, as I will only have my phone for an internet connection while waiting for a router to be sent out. It will be a mix of part / full days off, holiday request for a block of time off, while doing some part / full days with limited access again. I'm happy with this arrangement and could potentially save some work to the laptop and I could do it without internet, when I'm back up and running transfer it back again.
-- I could buy a hot spot for a month with my phone provider, but I'm guessing that data wouldn't last long trying to use it for work!

First thing I will do when I move is locate the water stop c---, gas mains off etc as I wouldn't like to be looking for things in an emergency.

Only plan I haven't yet worked out is moving my cat, I either take her with me when grabbing the keys and taking a car full over, tucking her up in a room or have her get really unsettled as I move out and then try and move her. I'm swaying more the the former as that's how I did it when I moved to this place, it meant she had time to settle in a little before everything appeared the next day; we camped on a makeshift bed of duvets and I heard her pottering around throughout the night before running back to me for reassurance.

Apologies, it's another long post, but when this is all over they will hopefully go to shorter ones; I use them as a to do list at times!

OMG. if I had just one tenth of your organisation I'd be over the moon!
Lovely to hear you so positive again..X

    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy

@Chrystal - it's a hard habit to break, but is clearly working to my advantage at the moment! Maybe I should set up a sideline of a "Life Organiser" 🤔

@savingholmes - I'm just trying to stay focused, I could so easily not update my diary until this is all over. It's still my little quiet place to escape to and I don't want to lose momentum here like I have in other parts of my life.
