@savingwannabe Christmas is planned in September ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ but doesn't take much to do. I'm sure I posted in my diary last year.

I've loads to do and not enough non-working days for what I need to do.

On a side note BQ has opened up again, so I can pick a few things up when I have the date confirmed, but need to see how their prices are compared to Argooose. Then I get tick a few things off my to do list.

Well, got 3 days to myself and loads to keep me busy.

This evening I've spent a few hours catching up on my surveys, got screened out on most of them, but completed two. Must make an effort each day to see if I can earn more.

Had a quick look on Argooose at curtain poles, then had a look at curtains ๐Ÿ™ˆย ย

Will see what I can do with my A voucher, as that's still waiting to be spent. More than likely that will be garden related.

Then went to have a nose at Ike@, will have a proper look over the weekend.

Spent the afternoon on the beach and had a wonderful BBQ. Clear blue sky and sat listening to the waves rippling on the sand.

Solicitor has emailed the POA form to me, will be scanning it back and dropping it through the door. No confirmed completion date, but still going in the right direction.

I'm in the process of getting home insurance quotes ๐Ÿ˜ฌ and decided I would ask for guidance in the insurance forum due to effectively having the Scottish equivalent of a 'freehold' flat.

I've had a quote from a broker I picked out up here (when told the figure I could do better), seen DL cover these types of properties, so have had a quote from them; nearly a third cheaper and better cover.

My challenge is to see if I can get what I want, but a bit better priced.

Done a few more home insurance quotes, coming in slightly cheaper, but I quite like the high cover offered by DL, (ยฃ1m buildings, ยฃ50k contents) so will go with them.ย

Done two surveys tonight, my points are now worth over ยฃ80.

Caught a look at myself in the mirror today and I've colour in my face, didn't think it was that warm on the beach yesterday, even with the bonfire / BBQ. It made me feel better seeing I look 'well' for the first time in a while.

In a bit more pain today, but that's normal after beach time. Shame the water would never be warm enough for me to go swimming in it.

My company has a discount with the council I'm moving to, so get 20% off the pool / leisure centre. Will take advantage of that in the future.

Weight has stabilised following illness and I've lost 2lb. Normally it's top to toe I lose it, this time it's toe to head. But I'm seeing a loss which is good.

I've nearly ยฃ35 saved for when I empty my accounts, my car fund is slowly increasing and I've added a bit to my S&S; got other accounts with money which have always been separate from the MSAs.

Majority of my clothes are now packed, just a few outfits etc left as I will rotate through them until I move. Hoping to do footwear, jewellery, ornaments etc tomorrow. Thenย the kitchen and bathroom to empty / scale down and the stragglers after that.

I just to file all my paperwork as I haven't done that for a few months, but will do that in the week after work.

POA sorted out and back with the solicitors.

Moved a bit more to savings, done a survey and my payslip is available, getting nearly ยฃ10 extra due to tax change.

Having pork and potato for my tea.
