Thank you everyone, I've spent the afternoon in my home, looking over everything and was left a few more bits than expected (mirrors / pictures / the electric fire), sadly the one thing I wanted and expected to be left were the shelves screwed in to the kitchen wall!

Rather annoyed me but I looked out the back windows and saw the the estuary, melting at the view of the water and further out to the mountains / hills.

Have to do a mini report to my solicitor about any issues as he will then let me know if the seller has to fix things; I doubt it as it's not 'major'. Eg water leak etc. But will have another look round everything tomorrow and test the sockets etc before emailing him (that's the huge difference between Scottish / English sales/purchases). I did actually speak with him today, first and probably only time I will.

So the weekend I need to register all the accounts, paint the rooms and work out my new layouts; this is the reason to never buy furniture before moving in, as things are so different when you have the keys. Will be moving in a few days 🤗

I honestly cannot wait, just want to work my way through the garden and enjoy the summer weather.

(I'm too excitable to post properly!)

Feeling so much more relaxed now than I have done for the last 5ish months!

Removal company booked and I keep looking at the photos I took.

I've done no rear interior planning, but have a few days before I need to worry about that. The idea I had for the lounge / eventual new furniture will work.

Taking measurements, pen, paper and a tape measure tomorrow to see how the bedroom layouts might work.

Booking the latter half of next week off work.

Financial institutions have been updated with my address, registered for council tax and will de-register on the rental closer to the tenancy end date (notice went through ok yesterday), have to set up the gas / electric accounts.

Still need to do pensions / loyalty cards and any other random things.

Have to register my furbaby with the local vets, plus register myself with the local Dr; will get another script before starting the process.

'offically' I've the rental until near the end of the month.

Only a quick update as I'm off to my flat!
