I am so proud of you. Sodd'em. They were horrid. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Do you have to work notice or can we party now?
I am getting some wine out but also have a cute cake for you.

Thank you DIA, Skinty and SW
I'm currently working my notice but it turns out I may have more holiday to use than I thought! Therefore not really many actual working days to do AND I get a decent break between ending and starting 😃😃
The more I was reading about the company and my new director, the more I knew I wanted the role and to work with them. I gave it my all at the interview yesterday and have never wanted a role so much in all my life; it felt right.
- didn't want to jinx myself by saying, hence only telling you I went for a drive.
I was too excited to sleep last night as my head was full of ideas to help grow the company further, how I would set my working day up and run the various tasks, also whether I could somehow get involved with the sister company and the projects it undertakes around the world.
When nice agency called to say the role was mine, I swear it was the first breath out in about 17 hours!
The take-home pay is £50pm less, but I won't have union subs each month.
I've only 4 roads / turn offs to learn as it's an almost straight run against traffic instead of with it, therefore better on petrol; 30 minutes each way too.
Free parking, so I don't have to get up at a silly time.
Don't work bank holidays, close for the Christmas period, company evenings out too.
Employees have worked there for years, very low turnover of staff.
The perks to me are worth a lot.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.7 -
Brilliant news MF! XXXI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy4 -
OMG so happy. Totally brilliant. Everything sounds much better the cut in pay will actually not matter as you will be paying less for travel and petrol. Well done. I hope you can leave current job asap.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Sounds so exciting MF and a great place to work. Did they say anything in your old place about you resigning? All the positives outweigh the £50 per month pay cut !0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
