Swimming and getting beauty stuff done. OMG wonderful. I am so happy for you.

Thanks Skinty and SWI'm feeling refreshed today and did like the pool we went to, free on-site parking which is a bonus.
I entered via the kiddies area, walked under an arch to the main pool, noticed the temperature drop, but adapted ok. I definitely want to do a few hours at a time of mixed swimming, general bobbing and movement. It's a shame aqua classes are weekdays and not evenings / weekends too.
- downside is I couldn't get warm last night. If I wear jogging bottoms, thick socks etc and have my car heater on full afterwards it should make a difference.
My eyebrows look fantastic and the best I've ever had up here, definitely on par with my old salon.
Spends were swimming £13 with vending snacks and I paid for all of us, brows £7, parking £3.50, San Spa items £63ish.
- San Spa was expensive because of buying everything I wanted and in one go, it's a case of replacing as and when they run out and will be cheaper.
Today I'm hurting, the shopping centre was big and the shops I wanted were furthest away from the car park 🙈 I don't think much of it was because of the swimming, but possibly because of being cold afterwards.
I've had my coffee, about to get ready and then it's PAH, T and furniture shop!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Glad you got some pampering time. I'm noticing a huge difference in my flexibility since starting body balance classes. May be worth looking into something similarAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hopefully as you get used to swimming the pain may ease? I am so inflexible. No jogging this weekend as i was busy doing work.Aiming for a minimal spend 20223

Thanks SH and SW
I looked at some BB videos, at this stage I would struggle but can revisit in the future. I'm hoping things get easier as I'm even worse today!
My mind wants to do so much eg pamper, swimming, reading, garden, DIY, shopping, cooking, cleaning, work and other day to day tasks, but my body is saying it's too much.
- I'm hoping when I'm in a normal office role things change and cling on to the idea it's just the weather / job making life harder for me.
The furniture shop was ok, prices could be a little better with some things but TomBo picked a bedside cabinet up to put his PC on and some cat tat (book ends which are cute!).
Treated cat at PAH and did the usual shopping at T; I stayed along the edge as TomBo nipped down the aisles.
Pottered in the garden and picked more beans for over winter use. Got another squash. TomBo lifted a parsnip family where the welded parsnips weighed in at over 4kg; he is trying to work out how to clean the monster.
I've not been given the full batch cooking menu for this week, but oddly enough parsnips and squash are featured.
I'm wrapped up on the sofa 😊Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Even when you rest you do so much. Glad you picked up bits from the furniture shop, and that cat is ok. I cannot believe that you are still getting vegetables from the garden. 4kg parsnips!!! What is he feeding them??? Shredded Wheat?

Thanks SW, you're so right about my 'rest' time.
I've applied for some jobs, sent my CV off to more agencies, worked out how long it would take me to get to other locations and ruled some out.
Paid some more off the CC and moved some money to savings.
I have put things away, adding stuff to the charity bag, pottering in the kitchen, emptying things, when I should just sit down and do nothing!
It's homemade comfrey tea I feed the fruit and veg. Maybe the comfrey passes on its huge genetics as the leaves are over a foot long on the plants as they go into the water bucket 🙈
TomBo has dissected the monster parsnip and loads have been put in the freezer, we're also having some roasted for tea. He's sliced and roasting the squash, I will make soup later.
Sounds like he's about to start batch cooking and I'll soon get to find out what we're eating all week.
Today is roast beef, roast parsnips, roast beetroot and spuds, with herbs; how cool is it that all the veg and herbs came from the garden 😊Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.7 -
Well done getting the application off and CV sent out.
Lovely to be able to use your own veg and herbs. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks DIA and SW
It's nice having the homegrown on the plate!
Meal planning so far:
M beef and barley
T chicken stir fry
W spag bol (from freezer)
T may be stew
F fry up
I'm still trying to find the course cheaper as it's a lot of money, when a different specialism is £500; I've no interest in that area.
- Secretly I'm hoping to land a career role off my old qualifications and experience, then do the course, as it gives me more time to save.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5
