You have done so well. I am chuffed that you are playing with numbers as this is positive planning and something you  know you can count on. That idea for a curry sounds divine. I want everyone's food.

It sounds better than it tasted! I'm sat here trying to work out how to turn it into a nice soup for lunch. Naan were good 😃

We're not overly impressed with squash and I won't be growing it again next year. I can use the space for better things we will enjoy eating.

It was a bit rainy today and the sun came out this afternoon, it was cold though.

My posh boots finally arrived and they're really nice. Got grip on them and they should be good for the winter weather 😃

Went for a drive after I logged off, through the countryside, saw some lovely hills, farmlands, hay bales and the sky was gorgeous on my way back.

Had spag bol for tea and we're watching a movie 🤗

At least you live in a beautiful area. It makes a difference. Enjoy your new boots. Keep picturing yourself in your new job. Start working your contracted hours only. What doesn't get done, doesn't get done. Sometimes the wheels have to come off for them to realise something needs fixing...

That's what I decided to do, it goes against everything I know but at some point it won't be my problem and the next person can attempt to unravel decades of mess 😃

I painted my nails today, but haven't had my daily mini pamper. Must remember to dye my brows this weekend.

The boots are black, part croc effect, straps, laces and a zip, with a chunky sole / heel. They will look good with any informal outfit.

  • Boots sound fab. Lovely that you could get out in the car, a change of scenery into the countryside is uplifting for the soul.

Tried different green squash from my DF’s neighbour’s allotment & pumpkin and wasn’t impressed but love the butternut squash DF grew either roasted or soup. If it was butternut squash you grew it may be the type. DF is going back to the type he grew last year as the type of butternut squash this year were not as tasty. I can find out the name of the tasty ones if it helps.

It was table king squash, a small green one like what's in the supermarkets. We both like butternut and pumpkin, and I thought TK would be similar. I'm not sure if SIL has eaten hers yet, but if she liked it I can grow the seeds and she can have the plants 😊 I won't really have the space next year as I'll be back to one garden, which is plenty to keep me occupied while working FT 🤭
