Champers anyone?Aiming for a minimal spend 20225

Thank you Chrystal, SW, Skinty and SH
Current company just accepted it, sorry to see me go and said I can talk to them if I want 🤨 erm no, haven't listened to me before.
- I just need to find out the 'value' of my pension and see if it's under the max figure to do a transfer without advice.
Arriving for the interview and being met with a happy employee, displaying signs of being genuinely pleased to see me and know why I was there created a great first impression. Everything I've seen about my new place is good and feels so positive.
The gut feeling I had when I thought my destiny was with TomBo and how I knew this was the right flat, that's the feeling I had looking at their website and information about the owner 😃
I'm enjoying the cake and champagne, hope you've all filled your glasses and taken a slice!
Had homemade Chinese chicken curry and rice for tea, chocolate for pudding.
Tomorrow I'm hoping to go swimming, pop to the butcher and fill my car up.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.6 -
Make sure you look into pensions in detail before any decision to transfer out... DB pensions are worth a lot as they are guaranteed unlike other types. I only want to do one of mine as I have a second DB that I'm keeping... and the first offered a lot for me to go.... Not that I can yet anyway.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I will be SH, the value isn't going to be anywhere near yours as I've only just reached the point I can't cash it back in. I always said this pension is pocket money.

Last night the universe seemed pleased with my actions. There was the most magnificent sunset, hasn't been one like this all year.
I also actually slept, had a lie in and got up just before TomBo left 🙈 My head feels clearer and I'm quite relaxed 😃
My end date has now been confirmed, which is a relief!
I've done a bit of shopping round the village, picked up YS burgers, YS plums and YS ginger; 10p a packet and it will go in the freezer as I do like fresh ginger. Popped to the butcher's and got a load of things for tea. Treated myself to a ham salad roll, custard slice and fizzy drink at the local bakery.
I didn't quite have the energy to go swimming, well I had to pamper my legs and wasn't up for that, but can go next week and every day when I'm 'on holiday'.
I'm beginning to formulate plans and budgets, still sticking with clearing the mortgage by 31/12/2029 and start the new decade owing nothing. Most of all I want to save, have fun and look after me.
TomBo is cooking a fry up when he gets home 😊

Thanks SHI didn't realise, or admit, to how bad it dragged me down and how much it physically affected me. I'm already feeling better within myself, still in pain but no where near what it normally is. How much stress and pressure was I under!
This weekend it's full pamper, fill up car, plant garlic and onions, subject to weather, and keep smiling.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
