Didn't manage to plant up the sweet peas, will do those tomorrow. Just have to sort my seeds out as the other section of the loaner garden is ready to sow.
Having spicy chicken burger and chips from the chippy and both of us are resting.

Thanks SW and SHIt gets me outside. I'm hoping by the end of next month everything will be in and I only have to nurture and eat it; spending more time sitting outside with a bit of pottering.
Next year I should be more organised as things are beginning to make sense 😀Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

Thanks Skinty, we've already had salad and spinach. Not long until it's time to lift the garlic and onions.
I've only got 17 tomato plants to put outside, each week I'm moving a few out and seeing how they settle in.
It's foggy / misty again today. Yesterday late afternoon / evening we kept hearing a fog horn going, the estuary must have been scary to manoeuvre down on the freight ships.
Already have lunch planned, bacon and haggis on rolls / baps / cobs, that should keep me going until tea.
The more I'm doing outside, the more it confirms I've made the right lifestyle choice and makes me want to clear the mortgage quicker.
Having my coffee then it's time to start sowing.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
It is lovely to have spinach and salad. Roll on garlic and onions.
I look forward to a similar lifestyle too.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks DIAI've settled into this lifestyle a little bit too quickly and almost with ease. I want more garden time!
I must make better use of my space. I've sowed some too close together, others way too far apart. What I'm now trying to do is mentally break the sections into smaller ones. In theory I can get quality, succession planting and more variation on the go.
- I'm trying this method in the borrowed garden and my own as space allows. If I can perfect it this year, it will be a lot easier next growing season.
No2 - flower seeds sown, some sweet peas put in.
Ours - planted some more toms out.Borrowed garden - herbs, beet roots and radishes are sown. I'm hoping to get the leafy salad seeds sown tomorrow after work.
I think I'll be ok when allocated an allotment space, provided I set it up right for ease of getting around and working it.
The next couple of long weekends will be sowing and planting. The last couple should be pottering, tending and sitting outside. Must plan and book my next lot 😀
1st of the month most of the bills come out and I can move money to savings.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
I have jiggled my SIPP about a bit, sold one lot of funds and put it into another pot I'm happier with. Did the same with the S&S ISA. Saves a bit on fees each quarter and means slightly bigger pots for my money.
I'm trying to work out the quickest way of clearing the mortgage, a couple of ideas are floating around. 6% paid off so far and I'm now at 79% LTV.
I've booked another bunch of long weekends, that's the next 9 weeks as shorter ones 😀
No decision yet about replacing / restructuring the role I'm covering. I wonder if the company will even decide this year.
No response to my missing money.
Nothing much else going on aside from gardening, watering after work and sowing seeds. Weather is hot and sunny and I need to get some shading put up as my veg needs sun cream, poor things.
