I did get a BBQ, but it's down to TomBo to use it as cooking is his domain 🤭
Got up at 2am, managed to doze for 30 minutes before TomBo got up. I hogged all the sofa when my cat got up to eat and my goodness was she grumpy, jumping up and down from each bit of furniture and stomping around.
It's a clear blue sky, already warm and I'm about to pick a dress 🤗Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Aw pick a nice dress. I bought a cotton dress yesterday. This sunny weather demands themIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks DIA and SWI opted for the dress from the charity shop the other week. It's a strappy, elastic upper half, knee length flowery one; I used to wear this style as a little kid!
If everyone was closer, I would factor in all your gardens 😉 instead the list is growing for when I do venture away from home 🤭
Having my coffee, then popping into the garden to check everything and after that taking a walk to the local allotments, see what people have growing and maybe strike up some conversations.

Still grey sky here but no rain yet. Maybe it will brighten up later. I remember those dresses too as a child 😁 last time I wore a dress was when I got married 😳

Your dress sounds lovely! Funny how things come back in style- a lot of the dresses I’ve seen in the shops this year remind me of things my mum wore when I was little.Hope you’re having a lovely day2

Thanks Skinty and RLIt's been a couple of years for you then.I find the dresses so comfortable and light, because it's elastic top half it means no extra support is required; helps keep my temperature and grumpy mood down when it's hot!
I've sat in the garden for a bit. If I can keep doing that, I might get my legs to change from milk bottle to hint of colour; with loads of F50 sun cream.
Took a stroll to the allotment I've my name down for. Plots are not as big as I thought they would be. The half plots are about the size of our garden, full plots are about double the size. Therefore if I can get through this year with ours and the borrowed garden, I don't see why I can't maintain an allotment plot.

Thanks Skinty, Ideally about 2 years would be better, definitely not before I've returned the borrowed one and finished No2's due to the amount of work a neglected plot would require to get it up and running 🙈
I'm having a meeting this week to talk about my role. Potentially it's my original role plus a lot of aspects of the cover role; lots of responsibility, lots of regulations to learn, still fits with what I've got experience in and can be put to very good use in the future.
Hopefully they will be willing to pay and not insult me by thinking the temporary salary is sufficient. There used to be a team doing the work, the workloads got distributed as the team shrunk. If I get everything, aside from one type of work, then I expect to be put very close to the top of the banding.
My missing pay is being looked into and I will hear back with their response 🤨
- makes me very nervous about having a regrade if this isn't rectified beforehand.

I made the mistake of planning what I will be saying in the meeting this week and not switched off to get some sleep.
Now an idea has popped into my head about a potential job title change and what I would be called. If it gets any longer letters will have to be printed in landscape 🙈
