It’s terrible when you have so much on your mind and can’t sleep. I try & write it all down on paper sometimes once it’s out on paper my mind can rest & sleep, doesn’t always work though.Hope job title is not “Give her as much work to do as possible, promise her the world but in reality pay very little” 😕0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks LW2G and Skinty
I managed about 90 minutes. 30 was just before TomBo got up, 60 of that was before I was due to log on.
It wouldn't help writing it down as I had to plan and perfect everything I wanted to say. Run through all potential replies and have answers for them. Effectively I've done my own job spec, picked a few extra words for my job title to take into account this other work and thrashed out a few elements, justifiying why they should come under my potential role.
I even said what salary I want, why and to not insult me by offering this temp wage 🤣
Just waiting to see what the outcome is and was thanked for my openness and direct approach.
Weather has been really muggy today, even in my summer dress and slippers.
I'm just off to water everything and we're having homemade pizza tonight 😃

Really hoping you get a positive outcome from all this. The stress of sorting the 'meeting' must have been super stressful, let alone waiting for the outcome. Have you any idea when to expect a reply? Hope the rest of your day is relaxed. Sending gentle (((hugs))) XI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

Sounds like the direct approach was the best.. Thanks Chrystal and LW2G
Doubt it will be this month, unless they quickly jump through hoops, paperwork and other red tape. I'll also probably still be doing everything for at least 3 months for the same reason.
Forgot to say earlier, apologies have been made and apparently I'll receive the missing money payday.
- I dread something similar happening if I am regraded.
I'm currently sat outside after watering the garden.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5 -
It was about 5pm when I realised I hadn't eaten. Non-stop all day, trying to clear loads, ready for stuff to replace it.
Long weekend time 😀
Planning to potter in the garden, put a few plants out and maybe pop to mtalan for some tops and leggings.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
It's been so hot and muggy all night I'm tempted to set the fan up. It's also been really windy, which should have reduced the temperature a bit.
On a positive note, the new role is confirmed and I'm waiting on a 'start date'. I'm getting £2,500 more than my current base salary (£600 more than I'm on at the moment); both are pre-deductions. It also means I'm accumulating a slightly higher DB pension. This is the second highest income I've had and all helps towards clearing the mortgage.

I've now been told it's not been officially approved and signed off yet 😟 I don't get why that wasn't mentioned and instead made out it was. Let's see what happens next shall we!
