Sorry to hear about your sibling and how draining you are finding their behaviour. Perhaps you could take a step back and let them get on with it. You have tried your best to help them but if they are not going to listen there is not much you can do and they will have to find out the way forward for themselves.

Long weekend sounds like a great idea. 🤗

Thanks RL and Skinty, it's constant. I could pull my hair out.

Got loads going on with work, as to be expected. The more I do, the more I'm uncovering, the longer it takes to resolve the problems. A simple 5 minute task has taken all day so far and I'm not even at the stage to do what I needed to. At least when I am sorting these things out, they're good for many years.

I'm looking forward to my long weekends 😃

Thanks Skinty, I'm trying not to think about it as that 5 minute task still hasn't been completed, hopefully the early part of next week will see it done. I am trying so hard to get everything covered as I want to progress a little more, get the experience and keep the higher salary; it will make such a difference.

Been out in the garden and planted up beans, I've rearranged the cover and will only fix it up at night for the next few weeks while everything settles in. I've taken a chance and put some toms out, have a fleece frame for them too; got plenty more and picked this lot as a risky sacrifice.

TomBo has done No2's front garden.  He's making a start on No5 (the borrowed one) and I've been cutting down builders sacks to act as planters; we are doing sacks for root veg and shallow root greens will go in the fresh ground.
    - we ordered a load of compost in the week, should be here within 2 weeks.

Just on a coffee break 😃

Once we're finished in the gardens I'm then getting some more seeds on the go inside.

Sounds like a busy but productive weekend. Hope your covers work & protect your plants from frosts. There still seems to be a few. Warmer weather on the way here for the weekend hope you get some too.

Thanks Skinty, only had a couple of hard frosts months ago, the fleece is more of a trap warm air in set up.

I'm looking forward to my long weekends, very tired today. I managed to get more seeds potted when I logged off and will try to do some more tomorrow.

I cannot believe how much gardening you are doing. My garden is almost a wilderness now.

It comes at a price SW. Work, garden, flop on sofa, drag myself to bed, few hours sleep, rinse and repeat the next day!

Spent nearly an hour in the garden, did some weeding, carefully tucked a couple of beans round the canes and the tomatoes are still upright. Herbs and plants and getting flower heads and the bees will be happy when they start opening.

People still think I know more than I do and it feels like now I'm getting paid there's even more work sent my way 🤨
    - I'm still focusing on the money and experience.

Put the last of my money into savings and have £1 until Friday.
