Thanks RL. I just couldn't find anything good to outweigh all the negatives, nor would the pay have been more than I'm now on.
Finally got a project finished at work, it's put me behind on everything else but I'm going to get stuck in. Shame it's a very busy week as a normal one would be easier to catch up. Going to start getting my appraisal form filled in, that way I can add more to it as I go along; will also use a lot from what I submitted for the pay increase.
Spent 45 minutes in to garden to de-stress and felt much better when I came back up.
I barely slept last night, cat was poorly then messing around every 10 minutes. I dozed off for a few minutes this evening and feel more positive.
Had pork chops and mash for tea, chocolate for pudding (must get my food sorted out when I'm more settled).
£78 in the bank, £2 is bank fee, 17 days until payday.

Two steps forward, ten steps back.
Now I'm having people constantly going on about my stress levels, I'm doing to much, have more, take time off, there's no one to cover if I'm away and loads of other things that should have been raised and resolved months ago 🤨
- I just want to get on with doing what I'm being paid to do and grab the experience!
Spent ages in the garden, weeding, looking at what's growing, where to plant things and eventually unwound.
Had meat stew and mash, chocolate for first and second pudding.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Love that you had first and second pudding.
I hope the time in the garden balanced out the stress of your work situationIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks DIA and Skinty, it was just a huge misunderstanding on their part. I've been left to get on with it and said I will want more money if the roles stay merged 😃- it's one thing restricting my holiday use and doing longer hours on a temporary basis, but on a permanent basis, not for what I'm now being paid.
Been in the garden a lot, weeding, tending to veg and battling slugs; I won't use pellets and moving towards 100% organic even down to making my own plant food.
- I've still got big dreams about having a proper smallholding and only working PT to cover the bills, but know that will never happen. One day I will have the allotment plot and a small scale version of my big dream.
I should be in the garden all weekend as I'm always able to find things to do.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5 -

TomBo has made a start on sorting out the second leylandii stump, so far three sections of the patio has been lifted to try and access it and the silly big roots; it had damaged a couple of the slabs over the years and moulded around them. Hopefully it won't take him long to trim back and re-lay the patio.
- the whole patio area currently looks like an unusable mess.
I've weeded around the veg, did a bit of organising and also popped into No2 and sowed some flower seeds.
Have to pop to SIL's in a bit, I'm on furball duty again. Then I'm popping to T for a few bits, I've cashed in some vouchers towards a BBQ.
Having coconut turkey curry and rice for tea and I may have a nap after as I'm exhausted.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

It is fun, but all they do is eat! Got two bags of 'deposits', bedding and leftover nibbled food which works so well in our compost.
I did pick up the BBQ, some charcoal, YS meat, veg, fruit juice and all the chocolate.
