Thanks SW, but they're about as much use as a chocolate tea pot; I'm seriously considering cancelling my membership and adding the money to my EF, pension or OP.

It's one of them things SW.
Somehow it's possible to give me even more to do. I guess things will keep coming on a daily basis and I have to focus on how it'll look on my CV.

Pottered in the garden for a while and watered everything when I came back upstairs. It feels like I'm making headway with potting up and organising them. I can plant a few more things out the weekend.

One of my communal fund savings accounts matures this month and I'm plotting where to put it next. Will decide in a few days as I've a few possibilities and I want to keep it within the remit I've saved it for, rather than dropping it into another earmarked pot.

Had steak and rice for tea, doughnuts for pudding, chocolate for second pudding.

    Thanks Skinty and SW
Third pudding was the remaining chocolate 🙈

Some positive work news. My application was very strong and I'm being awarded a temporary uplift, backdated, in recognition of my hard work, dedication and such detailed reasoning for it 😯😯😯😯  for the next few months I will have some extra money too. The backdated element with go into mortgage O/P, savings and some treats, then each month I will put it into savings as I don't want to get used to the extra money.

    I'm well and truly shocked.

Thank you SH, I couldn't believe it and still can't. It's taken months of asking and getting knocked back by people a lot higher up. Now I've a bit more enthusiasm and something solid to add to my CV.

Tomorrow is jab day and afterwards we're going to pop to the bakery and the visit 'SIL'. Saturday is gardening. Sunday we're off to see 'MIL' and a nursery on the way back. Therefore not exactly a restful long weekend, which is a shame.

Had homemade fried chicken burgers for tea.

Could be bad as they make a lovely bread, the almond and cherry scones were huge and very tasty and they have a cheese cabinet!
