Thanks SW, SH and DIAI need to work out how to deal with it when I have the next one, as my meds didn't touch the pain. Have to also make sure the appointment is on a Thursday or Friday again, for recovery.
We had a lovely day!
- TomBo did some gardening, planted up spuds and cut back a load of ivy. I had a potter around organising MILs greenhouse. Got the coffee table and rug, plus loads of pots, frames and other useful gardening things. Was given things for SIL too.
- Stopped off at an independent garden centre / nursery, grabbed some stuff for SIL and TomBo got me a cat sleeping on a moon.
- Called in to see aunt and uncle-in-law on the way back, was given huge bath towels. The car was pretty full at this point.
- Popped to see SIL and deposited things, which made some space for the things she had for us.
I need to reorganise the flat and have a few ideas.
TomBo isn't happy MIL is paying a gardener, but they don't seem to be doing anything, fully established weeds are everywhere, hedges not trimmed etc. We're plotting a way of going up several times to sort it out.
I'm looking forward to sleeping later!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5 -

I'm so glad to see that your work saw sense! I hope the pain has eased off today.4

Thanks DIA and Atrixa, still not got full movement but pain levels are back to normal.
Letter received, extra money until further notice; I don't have to worry about asking someone to extend it if I'm still doing it all for ages.
Pottered around the garden after work, making plans for next year while still working out this year.
Repotted SIL tomato plants when I got back upstairs; only two more full pots to do.
Tasks for this week:
1. File post as I've not done it for month's.
2. Take out useful info from gardening mags and recycle what's left.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Sorry about the pain, glad they sent the letter. Well done on meeting all the family and it sounds like a good time was had by all of you as well as much swapping of things. You sound wonderfully organised and busy!Aiming for a minimal spend 20223

Thanks SW, my planning is going well it's just finding the time and energy to action them! Busy? Absolutely manic but at least I'm being paid for it now 😃 all looks good on the CV.
I decided not to apply for that other role, the work wasn't what I wanted nor was the location. It felt like I would be jumping from frying pan to fire!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Congrats on the extra money! It's great that your hard work is being recognised
Sounds like a good call on the other role.3
