I hear the drip, drip, drip of steady progress, Babs, like the raindrop on the stone, you will reach your goals and wear down that memory of debt misery, to create your well of cash stash, and beyond that reach your dreams! Thank you LW2G, pizza was from the chippy as it's not much more than buying a nice one from the shop, only it's proper freshly cooked rather than put in the oven.
Thank you Ren, the old me feels like a lifetime ago, almost not even my lifetime.
Finance:
- I closed a couple of savings pots (garden and decorating) as I'm spending the money from income as and when.
My savings pots (and interest rates) are:
- Communal funds x2 pots (1.49 & 1%)- Interior EF - emergency leak etc (2%)
- ERC pot and modernising pot (0.50%)- Mortgage EF (0.75%)
- Cash EF (3%)
- Car everything / home insurance (0.10%)- Float - currently gas / electric (0.01%)
There's progress with the gas / electric. Accounts should be set up, just waiting on confirmation of this, then I'm moving companies!
We cashed in half of the supermarket points, TomBo is using those for shopping.

That account is nearly at its max for that rate SH, by the end of next month it will be full. I've been focusing on filling it that last few paydays.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3

Thank you SH, Ren and Skinty.
I ran out of steam breaking up for Christmas. If I have the rest of this month for relaxing, I can hopefully make a start on the hall in February, keeping on schedule for getting the flat done this year.
I've decided to not bank my bank rewards each month, that way it will be a nice little bonus every year or whenever I do cash them in; £60+ a year.
Will try and take the Christmas cards down next time I stand up. I'm leaving the tree and lights!
