Nice to read you are taking the foot off the accelerator for a bit.  :)

I seriously thought about not taking down the decorations until Spring... just thought long enough until the word 'dusting' popped into my brain... I don't think I could be 'Mrs Christmas' and leave them up all year....! :D They were so lovely, cheered the place up, but now they are down, it's like clearing the clutter from my brain!

  • Sorry to hear you are struggling with work and tombo is not getting his contracted hours. Does it say anything in his contract about changing hours ? Maybe ACAS can advise ?

Thanks Skinty, TomBo doesn't care about the job and I'm surprised he's lasted this long in it, he won't have it for much longer.

All I can do is rest when not working 😉
    - I'm doing both roles for at least another month, been told no extra pay to show appreciation ☹️

Apparently the utility account is now getting set up, but I'm still not holding out much hope!

CC have taken the DD this month and rounded up payment made.

£70 in the bank, 16 days til payday.

I've just read back over a few days and it is nice to see your pattern of progress with savings, organisation and the house.

Good to see the heat is being retained and the improvements paid off.

Sorry the job sounds so demanding and as you say, rest when you can.

Thank you DIA. I'm hoping my energy gets up with me one morning, or decides to join me at some point 😃

The back of the flat was hot this morning and the sun blinding.
In a few months I will be saying about having the windows open, the sun / flat is too hot and my cat takes herself off for a sunbathe.

I will try and do the window surrounds this weekend and the frames after payday.

Unfortunately my morale hit rock bottom today, as to be expected. Just reminds me of all my other roles, taking with nothing in return.

MF that's awful. Im doing the same loads of extra work unpaid. It's that or lose my job! Some employers are so unethical in this climate .
