Not sure what the postie will think when he sticks his hand in now to shove letters through and it's soft rather than half a broken draught excluder 😂
Hmmm, he may be startled and think you have a massive dog brushing up against the door! Actually, that might be a good thing?  :D Mind you, if he looks through the letter box, he might be alarmed into thinking that it's a leopard you have roaming about....

No post today, so have to wait another day to see how the postie reacts!

The small changes to the porcibule made a huge difference to the temperature, nearly froze this evening opening the door when the new compost bin was delivered 😬

Christmas holidays seem like ages ago and I've only been 'back' a day.

  • Well done on getting back into the swing of work.
Great the new compost bin has arrived. It will help you look forward to using the garden again.

Enjoy composting. Glad your letter box draught excluder is working a treat.

I can see porcibule catching on! :D You could use the space behind the door curtain to keep things cool at this rate....

It's actually warmer in the porcibule than the hall, but then the kitchen and bathroom window frames do need new sealant.

Postie seems quite happy with the letterbox cover, his fingers are no longer getting stuck! He came back with a second delivery today 😁

  • You will be warm and snug with all your draught excluding measures Babs, especially once you have done the sealant.
