SH, I can do it all, it was just so demoralising and again shows where money could be saved, but instead is potentially going to be wasted if another person is taken on to what I'm already doing.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4

I now have a gas and electricity provider, with account number 😯 😯😯
I'm just waiting on my bills and asked for them to be heavily credited due to their delays; once I've got the bills and discounts, I'm off to the other company 😉

Thanks Skinty and SH, it will be a weight lifted when I get the discounted bills, pay them off and move to a cheaper provider. I'm seriously dreading how large these bills will be, compared to how they were at the other flats, because of it being a very expensive company.
So far it's taken 8 months and 14 days 🤨Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Yay to working through all the gas/electricity issues and emerging with an account number. Onwards and upwards to the cheaper providerIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thank you DIA, I doubt there will be any movement before next month.
TomBo did the shopping and I organised the cat food.
It's supposed to be raining the weekend and I'm going to:
- make a start on doing the window surrounds, only 7 windows to do.
- fit a bit more draught excluder in the lounge.
- connect the remaining PC cable.

Draught excluder should make a real difference. Good luck with the budgeting.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Don't fret SH, I do zero budgeting and I'm not going anywhere or doing anything requiring money.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3

Hi MF - yes I like to allow more room for human error. I'm trying to do zero budgeting and couldn't work out why it wasn't balancing. It turned out - I'd left in child benefit as being paid today even though that's the wrong date!! Doh! Had to move some savings back to cover it off. Will balance out - but was leaving me short before DH payday next week.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
