Thank you Skinty, it's definitely helped having today off! I made a start on the shower while the pies were cooking, will finish it off when I next pop in 🙈
I'm hoping the PJs are in a sale as I would like a second set, they've been great for winter. Loyalty points normally go on food and drink, survey points is food and something for the flat / garden.

I gave in and logged into the gas and electric, emailed myself the bills so I can print them off and have a proper look, making sure the meter readings are right and everything else. While I'm used to doing everything off my phone, I don't trust them. There's also no discount applied.
- the complaint handler tends to email me on a Sunday / Monday.
Anyway, for both utilities the bill, as of last week, stands at just under £440, so £1.70 a day for gas and electric usage for about 8.5 months.
Considering this is an old flat, it's on par with the older new build (first flat) and the 70's one (last flat), which I'm rather pleased with 😃Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.6 -
Argh, what a nightmare with the utilities! That's not too bad a price, though. Good luck on your PJ hunt. I'm still yet to find bottoms that don't shrink in the wash.3

Good news that you are nearly there with the duel fuel company! I can't believe it's over 8 months.... good job you don't give up!"...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

I’m still sleeping in shorts & short sleeve pjs maybe I am getting near “that” age 😳 I am even considering taking off my thick quilt & putting on my 2 thinner ones so I can throw one off during the night if I get too hot 😆0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thank you Atrixa, it's the tartan style ones from T I have, so far they've washed up ok. I use them as comfy lounge wear rather than sleeping wear.
Ren, I'm like a dog with a bone!
Skinty, I've a thick duvet and two covers on top, but I tend to wear a flimsy nightie. The main bedroom needs a double radiator to heat the room up properly, the second bedroom is fine with a single one.
I did a utility price comparison last night and my preferred supplier will work out to £1.40 a day.
I think having over 8 months before getting a bill is enough time for me to have an idea on usage. Even if the current supplier was dirt cheap I would still be moving away from them, due to the fiasco so far!
Bills are printed so I can cross reference everything.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5 -

Thank you SH, you reminded me about what I meant to do in the bathroom! That's all organised now.
- was going to buy a unit for all the toiletries, but rejigged things and we both have an existing shelf. Saved £10.
TomBo took the stuff out which I sorted yesterday. Unfortunately I think a book I've had since little was in it and he is going to scramble through the junk to find it 🙈
- I'm actually really upset and stressing and keep diving into different places to check in case it is in the flat.
- going to look in the bin myself.
Edit to add - after going through half the flat, I found it under the bed in with the rest of the books; TomBo said all the ones there were his.
Organised more things in the bedroom while going along!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5 -
Glad you found the book!
It is so easy to get more storage. Glad you downsized so you both have an existing shelfIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
