Just thought of another feature which would be amazing if it could be incorporated.

As a user of the competition forums, a 'hide' feature would be useful. This would hide any posts for competitions that you have entered, or are not interested in, and save seeing these posts each time.

Several competition forums already use this concept.

For me, I hope MSE will take the following on board:

• Keep the "old" green format (I find the new blue & white one makes me feel like someone's shining a laser into my eyes)
• Have the breadcrumb trail on the bottom of the new format pages as well as the top
• Do something with the layout for those of us on mobiles with screens less than 6" (I use a 5.5" Moto G 2nd gen and the right hand side bar on the green format makes the rest of the forum pages hard to view unless I zoom in because the text is really, really, small - I know my eyes are short sighted, but it gets insanely small).

If they are moving from vBulletin then it is inevitable there will be massive changes, forum layout & features will be unrecognisable !

Oh dear, I feel that the green forums we all know and love will be trashed, all in the name of 'progress'. I have been on these forums for 10 years and have not had any issues.... and I visit almost every day (using laptop not a 'phone or tablet).

I still use the really old green version, just to retain this functionality. Please don't take that away! Or please build a new version that does actually include this very basic functionality.

You've been telling us for ages the Forum is broken and not working, so we're doing something about it.

You need to sort the removal of posts from the main index when they have been deleted from the individual forums.

60 second waiting to post again is very off-putting for established members and should be restricted to new members only.

It's over categorised and should use inclusive filters not exclusive catagories which is the bane of the internet and explains just because you can doesn't mean you should. people who want to read shopping related news should not have to visit 19 different forums to get it, when a simple filter will include or exclude any categories they want

and MSE doesn't accommodate tablets and mobiles which make up 95% of internet traffic, and if that's not reflected on MSE forums it's BECAUSE they're not accommodated. Posters should be able to SHARE articles including photo, headlines and link in one single click
