DP - thats for making a claim
Not for claiming costs
Youre not even allowed to raise a claim for costs derived from another case -thats an abuse of process.2 -
Yes, I know, I am posting a link to a website which may or may not be of interest to the OP..You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

I dont see how it possibly applies
Applynig for costs when there hasnt been a hearing is simply writing a letter
It isnt complicated, difficult nor does it require a big investment in time.2 -
Hi @Lupo26 I'm having a similar issue to you. BW Legal has sent me a demand for £160 from premier parking for a PCN issued back in November, 2019. Basically, DVLA supplied the wrong address and I never got the PCN. Can you advise me what to do? I've read a few threads now and realise that answering the phone to them was a mistake, I was canny enough not to admit liability or confirm I owned or drove the car.0

It does not apply, it was just for the OP's information, In the Foreign Office we used to say "you can never have too much information".

Contact the landowner to ask them to intervene and get the charge cancelled. Open a new thread of your own if/when you receive a Letter of Claim or a court claim via the Northampton CCBC. The NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post, covers court procedures. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

DP - im confused
If it doesnt apply - and is, in fact, misleading to the OP to even *consider* it - did you tell thenm it would be difficult, and tell them to read up on making a claim?
You absolutely can have too much information if youre being told the information is relevant when it absolutely isnt. ALl it does is put off the OP from doing something trivial - writing a letter - as youre telling them by "read this" that theyre going to have to file a claim with the courts.

Sorry Nos, I am no longer prepared to play, please find another playmate. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Its not "playing", and its arrogance to suggest otherwise.
Youre misleading an OP and refuse to acknowledge what youre doing.
You either did it deliberately - which would be odd - or it was a mistake, for which an acknowledgement would help all.
