    Thanks

We know, but there is nothing we can do about it, que Sera Sera, the only way to resolve it is in court, whichever court that is

If you lose you will be told to pay a figure, in pounds, that is the only punishment, owing money, they won't put you in prison or confiscate your dog or transport you to the colonies, or use a cat o 9 tails

It's a dispute over laws, contracts and money, which could be similar in a landlord and tenant dispute, which is what civil courts tend to deal with

If these are penalties then magistrates should deal with them same as being caught speeding etc

This is what all drivers are faced with if they want to drive vehicles, not all hazards are roadworks or broken down vehicles in the fast lane

The people replying can only pass on information and advice, nothing more, consult a lawyer is what Martin Lewis would tell you to do

I have advised sending a one paragraph email. We have had two pages of debate as to this being the correct course of action rather than ignore the multiple notices. Either send it or don't.

You really don't seem to be reading properly what's been said. Or just ignoring it and focusing on irrelevant issues.

I agree with Redx go and see a solicitor if you want definitive advice.

I just read this thread after receiving a similar letter when I get back from my holiday (the holiday was lovely btw :). It's my first trip to London Southend airport and I simply stopped to ask the traffic warden onsite where the temporary parking is (for 10 seconds?). I was told there is none and I should use the short stay car park, which I did.

I have already appealed the PCN by telling my story, before reading this thread. Will they consider my situation? What should I do now if they do not?

What you should do now is read [URL="https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread[/URL].

Having done that, if you still have questions, then the best advice is to start your own thread.

It can only lead to confusion if trying to deal with two people's different issues in the one thread.

If they were a BPA company the answer is 35 days, but you'll need to have a look at the IPC's Code of Practice to find your answer.

It's not an appeal so they don't even have to answer.
