    Hi all,
I’ve recieved a response from VCS following my appeal. They rejected my appeal and saying no stopping signs were clearly presented.

They advised me to either pay or appeal to IAS.

    What should I do ?
Read post #3 of the NEWBIES thread, where this is fully covered, in an attempt to stop people asking this every time they get a rejection letter.

We cannot spend time on this 'nothing' stage of template scammery.

See you at court claim stage. No advice needed at this point in time.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

VCS have no locus standi to sue as is governed by Bye-Laws, and stopping where you did isn't a Parking Event no matter what VCS claim. but that won't stop them, expect a Claimform in due course. The only people who can fine you are Magistrates not VCS, but then VCS wouldn't get any money in that case.

So the advice is not to respond now onwards? Only respond to letter of claim/ court correspondence ?

    Thanks

    Please re-read post #101 above.

    Why are you asking again?

C-m also gave you good guidance:

That's what is advised, they will not listen to any more pleadings, as their claim is vexatious anyway, they are not honest brokers, they can only take action for Breach of contract in a Parking Event, as you didn't park and the airport is covered by Bye-laws as has been made clear many times, stopping as you did is not a parking event so there is no breach of any contract for them to sue you on. However as has already been indicated VCS are greedy so they WILL issue a Claimform in due course. When they do come back for advice, as a simple robust defence should see them off in court. they may well withdraw the claim as they might not want their lack of Locus Standi tested by a District Judge.

It's a numbers game for them, for every challenge they get 10 will pay up without a whimper. they probably won't risk their cashflow if the defence shows they are trying it on as they are at an airport with bye-laws.

I spoke to a lawyer recently. She use to work for parking companies and told me if there are signs which are clearly says ‘no stopping’ then it is breaking the land rules. She also adviced not to ignore any letters from the company.

    Conflicting guidance, eh?

    Tricky.

You need to decide which you follow.

Is there any successful cases you know similar to mine where someone used ‘No stopping’ zone for dropping off in a private land and succeed the case before the court letter?
The lawyer I spoke to she told me it is really bad getting a letter from court as this badly affect on the credit score.

She probably isn't that good then, PPC's don't bother paying for decent lawyers, you would be far better taking the advice on here, and the PPC will not be taking you to court anyway.
