What isn't clear about the NEWBIES thread, where it says how to respond to an LBC?SoJacob said:Thank you all, is there any example template I can use?
Read that first and please please please, do not seek a 'template' reply to an LBC (useless idea). If it was a good idea it would say so in the NEWBIES thread.
You can certainly talk about being NHS front line and tell them to cease and desist.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all,
im sorry to bother you all. I am not understanding the post 2 from the thread. Sounds very complicated.0 -
It's a complicated subject. What are you asking? You've been here for over 12 months now.SoJacob said:Hi all,

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Who am I responding to for this letter before claim? Is it the VCS? Nothing mentioned about appealing/ defencing in the letter I received. It's a complicated subject. What are you asking? You've been here for over 12 months now.Yes reading post 2 is very complication and not really understanding what I should be really writing down.0 -
You reply to whoever sent the LBC and talk about being front line NHS and whatever your dispute is, and also ask for a SAR (the NEWBIES thread tells you how and what to put for that).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I replied to the email address which was in the letter before claim. They informed me that this case is currently with Debt Recovery Plus Ltd and any payment would need to be made directly to them. And asked me to contact them by phone on 020 8234 6778Coupon-mad said:You reply to whoever sent the LBC and talk about being front line NHS and whatever your dispute is, and also ask for a SAR (the NEWBIES thread tells you how and what to put for that).0 -

If so, send them another letter/email informing them that if they do not respond fully to the SAR within seven days then you will be reporting their failure to the Information Commissioner's Office.2 -
My email was pretty much requesting to cancel this charge and mentioned that I’ve been working leaving my kids since April, hoping they may do have kind hearts but ‘hey ho’! I have not drafted a defence yet, I will have to read the thread again to make sure I’m doing the right thing. Am I still defencing VCS directly or via debt collectors as they said in the email.KeithP said:

You dont give a toss about debt collectors
IF they take you to court then it will be VCS doing so, so you will be defending at that point.
Send VCS a SAR, it might be useful for you to have the info now, and not if a claim form drops through the door.
