Hi wonderful people,
I’ve recieved response from VCS. They mentioned that they have recieved the response from but expecting an appeal on online or pay £60 / pcn.
What should I do now ? Advice please ?
Many thanks0 -
Hi Keith,
I received letters from my response to my pcn to VCS. They are asking me appeal on online (which I tried before I emailed them last month but their website was not working) as I emailed them.
Or pay the £60.
Should I respond to their letter ?0 -
Any advice ?0

So you tried their website last month and it wasn't working.
Is it working now?
If so, send the same text via their website.
If it still doesn't work, wait patiently for their next action which will probably be debt collectors letters.1 -
Is the online appeal working now?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks. Yes it is working now and I’ve done it on online. I also took a video when this was not working.0

Hi All,
Just wanted to say I received a PCN dated 21st Aug and have appealed on the website. They then emailed to say I had a week to provide evidence. First time around I put the following comment:
'I am not automatically liable as the registered keeper and the airport is subject to byelaws, thus is not treated in the same way as parking open private land. This is non-relevant land under POFA 2012 and as POFA 2012 does not apply I, as the keeper, am not liable.
If this is not dropped I will be complaining to my MP re the Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019, which may result in this Private Parking Company losing their ability to access DVLA data. I trust this will be the end of the matter.'
When they gave me another opportunity to respond to the Prima Facie and to request to go straight to the adjudicators, I added the following comment:
'As you know the airport is subject to byelaws. Civil courts lack jurisdiction in such cases, should you bring one and it would need to be dealt with in a Magistrates court. Should you proceed with a civil case an application for it to be struck out will be made.
Having now been warned of my actions should you proceed, I will hold you fully responsible for all and any fees associated and will apply for all costs due to your unreasonable behaviour. As also previously mentioned, I will make a formal complaint to my MP, James Cartlidge and request that this parking company's access to the DVLA be withdrawn and mention the Parking Act 2019 and request the most severe action be taken against VCS. I will also mention your lack of an appeal's process that is fit for purpose. I trust this to be the end of the matter. If not, I will do my best to ensure the IAS and VCS feel the full weight and force of the law'.
I will keep you all posted on the outcome of this 'appeal' and any future related correspondence I receive, so we can develop a suitable way forward for this location and PCN.
Thanks for all the guidance this thread and others have provided!

Hi all,
I’ve recieved a response from VCS following my appeal. They rejected my appeal and saying no stopping signs were clearly presented.
They advised me to either pay or appeal to IAS.
What should I do ?
Thanks0 -

Ignore the inevitable debt collectors, and post again on this thread if ever you receive either a Letter of Claim or official court correspondence and you still need help.1
